About Lauren Kozlow
This secluded and beautifully furnished custom log home was built by my mother in 1995 as a home away from it all. Every detail was poured over from the hard wood maple floors to the radiant stone fireplace. Her vision was to have a place to gather her children and grandchildren and spend time enjoying each other and nature. We have been sharing our home with travelers from around the world since 2006. Aspen Hill Retreat has gone on to acquire five star reviews from all of our guests many of whom return year after year.

Why Lauren Kozlow chose Livingston
We are only 20 minutes from the Yellowstone River with some of the world's best fly fishing and one hour from Yellowstone National Park. Bozeman is a half hour away and Livingston even closer. Bridger Bowl ski area is 40 minutes via Jackson Creek Road.
What makes this Cabin unique
Having the mountains in our backyard and the creek to play in add a unique dimension to our lives. One could feel the peacefulness of the area as soon as one started the five-mile drive home. We are still in awe of the great beauty here and are very happy to share our home with our guests. The wildflowers in spring and summer cover the hillsides around the house. If you like bird watching the deck is a great place to sit with a bird book and binoculars. Moose feed on the willows down by the creek, black bear visit occasionally, deer are abundant and a herd of elk may wander through the property depending on the time of year. There is never a dull moment in nature at Aspen Hill Retreat.

Multi-generational Family Vacation
The house was well kept and offered many extras. There was plenty of room for all 6 of us. It was nice to be able to cook some meals and sit on the porch to enjoy eating with the hummingbirds. The hot tub is also a nice extra!
Home In The Valley
I can't thank the hosts enough for our excellent experience. First of all, their responses to all of our questions were very efficient. Had communication throughout our stay (even though my phone had a very difficult time in the location). Always very respectful.
The home in the beautiful valley is nothing short of fantastic! Beautifully isolated, just far enough "off of the grid" to feel like you're truly out in the wilderness. More than enough space inside for the crew of 6 fellas that made the trip. Fireplace in the front living area is a wonderful thing. You WILL be plenty warm with the fire going. Full kitchen that allows you to pretty much cook up anything imaginable. A nice warm hot tub in the woods to soak away some of the aches and pains from the full days of activity. And a deck with beautiful views of the valley. I want to stay at this place for EVERY trip our group makes!
One thing worth mentioning is that it's a must to have 4WD/AWD when staying at this destination during the Winter. Even without a fresh snowfall, it's very windy in Montana. Snow drifts can form very easily and quickly. So unless you plan on just driving around the city it's a must to have 4WD/AWD pretty much anywhere you go.
Kudos to the folks that gave us the opportunity to stay in their lovely mountain home. If we return to the area again, we WILL be staying here again if given the opportunity.
We had a wonderful weekend getaway! The property was perfect and the owners were very kind and accommodating. Will definitely be back next year for our annual weekend getaway!
Cozy Mountain Getaway
We enjoyed our stay. We loved fires in the fireplace, coffee on the deck and cooking in the fully stocked kitchen.
Great place! We absolutely loved the stay here. This place has so much to offer, very warm, welcoming and felt at home. We will be booking again for sure!
