Charming 4-bedroom dog friendly cape close to town and beaches

Your home away from home in Charlestown just 2.5 miles / 6 minutes from the town beach is perfect for a romantic getaway or for a group holiday.
With this lovely house that features 4 bedrooms (3 queens and 2 twins), 2 bathrooms and an outdoor shower, guests will feel right at home. The huge deck with BBQ grill, outdoor dining table for 10 and fire pit offers lots of privacy and a soothing atmosphere which will make your stay truly relaxing. Beach supplies such as chairs and umbrellas are always available for your use.
This is a “Dog Friendly” home (maximum 2) and well trained four legged friends are welcome as they will love the the big fenced in backyard . (An extra refundable security deposit will be required).
We are also proud to be the stewards of one of over a hundred small historic cemeteries in Charlestown. (Read more about the town history in our Welcome Binder.)
We are located within walking distance to the Ocean House Marina, the Charlestown Historical Society, the public library and several gift shops and a very short drive to restaurants, fuel, the Mini Mart, Duncan, CVS, Ninigret Park, the Umbrella Factory and of course our beautiful town beaches. We think our home will help you experience all the great things Charlestown has to offer.

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
All dishes, cutlery and pots and pans should be clean and put away. Leave the dishwasher slightly open.
Take your personal bedding and leave bed covers and pillows neatly on beds.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Renters must supply their own sheets, pillow cases and towels. There are three queen beds and three twins.
There will be an extra $300 damage deposit for pets

Tom was a great host, kept us well informed about the property before, during and after our stay. The house was perfect for our family and their significant others with plenty of space and a wonderfully large backyard for our dogs. Can’t wait to go back!

What a great place to stay. Large fence backyard kept the dog safe and expansive deck was perfect for socializing. Close to the beach, spirits store, and marina.

We loved our stay in Charlestown! The Vrbo was clean and pet friendly. There was even a doggy door which our pooch loved! ( we don’t have one at home) All the amenities were there. The host was wonderful! Communication was great start to finish! There was a beach pass available to use.It got used often! Lots of places to go nearby too. Highly recommended for a family get away or a few friends to hang out. A great vacation spot!!!

We had a wonderful stay. The home was clean and spacious for our family. The deck and yard were great. The owner, Tom, was very communicative. The location was close to Charlestown Beach and Blue Shutters. Easy access into the home upon arrival. The spacious outdoor shower was a favorite. You can really maximize the space and sleeping arrangements. The window units cooled the home off nicely. It’s a great home. Thank you, Tom!!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming, spotless, dog-friendly home! It was the perfect fit for our large family, with plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy. The huge backyard was a fantastic bonus, especially for the kids and our dog. The location was ideal—just a short drive to beautiful beaches and other great attractions. The house was well-equipped with everything we needed, making our stay comfortable and stress-free. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it!

We couldn’t have asked for a better home for our long weekend away in RI! The house had plenty of space, was clean and nicely stocked with essentials. Our favorite (and our dog’s favorite) part of the house was the nice fenced in backyard, including the fire pit and outdoor shower. The property was super private, quiet and well kept - and the location was very convenient. Tom was excellent and communicated all details about the house leading up to our stay and while we were there. We highly recommend this home and plan to return!
