This was our second great stay at Aquila's cabin for a spring hiking trip. Very comfortable cabin in a quiet, scenic location. Very private, yet close to Skyline Drive access, groceries, etc. Nice hot tub felt great after the day's hiking adventure. The owners (Alex & Sher) are always responsive to our inquiries & very helpful. We plan to return again!

The cabin was everything that I imagined. Clean and well kept. I would give 5 stars except that the bridges that you have to cross to get to the cabin was terrifying. Not something the Owner can change but that’s the only bad thing about it. The host was Amazing and communicated in a timely manner. Overall great stay.

Thank you so much for your review. I’m glad you guys had a great stay. I do you think it’s extremely unfair for you to not give us five stars because of the bridges that have nothing to do with our property. If you’re able, please rate our property based on your experience, not on the drive-in. We believe these bridges are part of the overall charm of the area and the experience.

One of the best cabins in Virginia

From the moment you enter this cabin you can tell that the owner takes good care of the property. It has comfortable furniture, clean rooms, and is a beautiful cabin overall. The property is secluded but still very close to stores, breweries, and other local attractions. I would definitely stay here again.
