This is an excellent location especially for families. “Everything” is within walking distance . Bring a kite for the kids - and walk to the kite launch across the street or take them to the playground which is also down the street, bring the pails and shovels to make sand castles at Los Alamitos Bay Beach, then a gondola ride with a 50 minute guided tour serenaded by a gondolier, want some exercise -rent a kayak to burn some calories, walk to 2nd Street as you stroll through this uniquely beautiful neighborhood for a variety of restaurants then stop at “Candified” for special treats for adults & kids, take a sunset bike ride and wake up before sunrise for a walk along the shore then another stroll to get some coffee and fresh bakeries.We loved this location!

It was a beautiful home and had a great view of the beach across the street. We had a great time and had many amenities needed for a vacation weekend. There were even fresh flowers in the house.

This was the best vacation property we have ever stayed in. It was stocked with everything we needed. It was clean and very comfortable!! The beach is literally across the street. The host was very responsive and helpful! We will stay here again.

The rental itself was great. Very clean, fantastic beds- they didn’t feel cheap. Everyone on my trip was happy with the rental itself. The only downside was because we booked this trip in advance, about a month before it came to there were hurricanes and other weather events possibly affecting the beach near this home. When asking the host a month prior we were told there was no impact. When arriving the beach had massive sand hills to protect from impactful waves, half a mile south homes were falling into the ocean, trash was scattered all over the beach because of this, and a fire department station was on patrol at the beach. We would’ve still kept our booking being as this is an annual trip for us but i do wish the host had been a bit more honest about the integrity of beach.

Very convenient location. Close to everything and steps from beach. Condition & cleanliness were on point! Overall layout was perfect. Very comfortable and not overfilled with furniture. (Wish I had known of this place when all the kids were younger and we needed a 3rd bedroom.) Also, we really appreciated the binder with the information on where to find things! Very helpful! Can’t recommend enough!

The house was perfect for us and lots of extras included- coffee pods, tea, fresh flowers. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash in showers. Host let us check in early on our arrival date. Super close to the beach, we headed to Alamitos Bay most days and that is a 3 minute walk even with a toddler in tow. Great vacation for us and our grandkids! Thanks!

The unit was very clean and thoughtfully stocked. Flowers were delivered after we arrived. Thank you. There is parking for a full sized truck or two compact cars. The owners live upstairs. About 200 teenagers congregated at the beach across the road and started fighting resulting in 7 LBPD units and an air unit broadcasting for them to disperse. Lasted about 2 hours, unsettling.

The incident did occur, but was totally out of my control. This is the only review that I have received that was not 10/10. I can only affect things that happen on my property, not down the street. LBPD responded quickly and peace was restored.
