LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION . . . This lovely cottage is centered just off Second Street in the most desired area of Long Beach - BELMONT SHORE. A five minute walk will lead you to all of the wonderful boutiques, pubs, restaurants, beach and bay! If you have children, your kids will love the beach as well as the bayside and all of the available activities that comes with it. Kayaking, windsurfing, sailing, or just floating around on a raft.
Enjoy our recent remodel . . . if you appreciate beautiful new hardwood floors, historic casings, glass hardware an open area between the family room and kitchen you've found the right place.
The kitchen has it all - french door refrigerator, double oven with convection, 6 burner gas range, dishwasher, microwave and coffee maker. If you enjoy cooking outdoors, our new BBQ awaits your grilling expertise. Whether you're enjoying the warmer summer months or the cooler winter season, our new central heating and air conditioning system will keep you feeling comfortable!
Our property comes equipped with high speed internet, FREE WI FI, cable, two flat screen TV's - a new 50' flat screen in the family room and a slightly smaller one a queen bedroom. We only provide high quality bed linens, towels, and there's no need to bring a blow dryer as we have provided them for you.
Take advantage of the coastal air . . . relax, sunbathe or BBQ off the private gated side yard or back porch or enjoy the front yard on the table set under the umbrella! During those warmer summer months, come inside and enjoy the A/C.
Once you've arrived at Maison de Fleurs cottage, you don’t really need a car to enjoy Belmont Shores, Naples, Belmont Heights, several beaches or parks nearby because you're in close proximity to just about everything on foot. Our property is close... yet just far enough to enjoy a little peace and quiet to read a book or take a nap!
Enjoy some local activities: Take a tour of the famous Queen Mary, visit the Long Beach Aquarium of the Pacific or if you have time - take the ferry to Catalina island. Go whale watching and most likely you'll get to see some dolphins frolicking alongside the boat. Again, there is quite a large selection of restaurants, bars and boutiques within walking distance. You might enjoy riding a bike or walking along the canals of Naples Island to look at beautiful homes, boats and/or beaches. If you don't feel like walking, consider a gondola ride and relax while you enjoy the scenery by water! Visit the Long Beach Art Museum or our local Performing Art Center. For your convenience, we have provided a notebook on site with detailed information on restaurants/menus, activities, etc.
If you're visiting the Long Beach Convention Center, we are a 10 minute drive along the scenic coastline. In addition, there is an hourly bus that will also shuttle you just up the street. The shuttle can take you to Shoreline Village as well where there are more restaurants and sightseeing. Our cottage is an easy drive to Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, South Coast Plaza, and Huntington Beach's popular 'surf city' or Seal Beach. Look at the map and see how close you are to many of the great destinations Southern California has to offer.

(LGB) Long Beach Airport - (15 minutes)
(LAX) Los Angeles Inter. Airport (35 minutes)
(SNA) Orange County Airport is (30 minutes)
Time wise, LGB is much easier getting 'in and out' of than LAX as it is much smaller and very close to our cottage. SNA (also known as John Wayne Airport) is also a smaller airport and located in Orange County. Timeframes can vary depending on time of day and current traffic conditions.

'Belmont Shore' is a very unique area and is the most desired destination in Long Beach due to the surrounding shoreline that 'hugs' three sides of this charming community.
If you desire to be within walking distance to all of the shops, restaurants, pubs, and boutiques of 2nd Street, this is the place! The 'down town' area is NOT considered Belmont Shore. Staying within the true boundaries of Belmont Shore will allow you to enjoy the area without having to drive and park your vehicle. Enjoy a property that includes the use of a private on site garage.

We hope you enjoy our 'home away from home' as much as we do! Just a few houses off 2nd street, we never run out of new and interesting things to do. Our cottage is in the best location if you desire close proximity to great beaches, restaurants, bakeries, and boutiques! Sometimes we just sit on one of the local 2nd street benches just to people watch or take a short stroll up the street and walk along the beach with 'waves', the bay (it's calm and great for younger kids) or the boardwalk to watch the sunset. Be sure to check out the 'location tab' to see just how great our location is. Enjoy the advantage of having the ability to take a short walk to just about everywhere!
Why Kelly chose Belmont Shore
Once you've arrived at our peaceful cottage, you will appreciate the private back and side yard as well as the gated front yard. Your proximity to banks, dry cleaners, drug store, post office, massage, salon, etc. is just up the street - minutes away. It's also fun to rent a bike and ride along the bayside or the boardwalk along the ocean. If you're a coffee drinker and don't feel like making a pot at 'home' - there are TWO Starbucks locations a 5 minute walk to the left . . . or a 10 minute walk to the right!
What makes this House unique
Enjoy all that the 'Shore' has to offer without ever needing to get behind the wheel. The weather here on Southern California's coast is wonderful. As three sides of Belmont Shores is hugged by water, you're sure to enjoy this seaside community. We also love the 'Farmer's Market' situated in the parking lot near the bay, this market is a great way to spend a Sunday morning. Grab what you need for the week, or . . . head across the lot to the weekly Art and Craft fair - both are held at East Marina Drive south of East 2nd Street. Whatever you choose to do here, come stay at our place . . . enjoy the ocean air, the beaches, the friendly people and all the comforts 'Maison de Fleurs' cottage has to offer.

Wonderful home and location!!
Our family stayed at Kelly's home while we were visiting for our daughter's graduation. The home was so clean, adorable, and had everything we could ever need. The location was perfect too. We had a bit of free time between festivities, and it was so fun to be able to walk to all the shops, restaurants, and the beach! We would definitely book Maison de Fleurs again! Kelly is so friendly, accommodating and easy to work with! Highly recommend!
Wonderful Location and Property
My wife and I have the pleasure of traveling the planet and it is always a pleasure when we find hidden gems like this wonderful home. Located walking distance to many restaurants and plenty of fun things to do, including the beach and the bay. To add to all of this, there is OFF STREET parking in the private garage. And the owner is very attentive to the little details that make/made our stay and experience the perfect get away for the weekend. We will be back!!!!
Perfect location and gracious hostess
What a lovely place to stay in Long Beach! This house was in a perfect location, within walking distance to everything. The property had 3 well sized bedrooms, and a spacious backyard. We really enjoyed the porch space as well. Kelly was an excellent communicator and even went out of her way to leave flowers and treats for us. I would love to stay here again.
Certainly was a plus having these guests. So glad they enjoyed their time at our property and it's always nice to have our hosting efforts appreciated. I hope they return again as it was another "WIN WIN" BOOKING. Best of luck to this group - no hesitation with rebooking on my end and our place was left in great condition too. Beautifully appointed charming home with perfect hostess/owner!
This three bedroom home is beautifully decorated and so comfortable with 3 different outdoor spaces to enjoy the sunny weather. We loved being one block from the main avenue with many shopping and eating opportunities. Kelly was always available for any questions we had and even left us some yummy treats and drinks to give us a head start on our vacation. She is a great hostess and went above and beyond any previous experiences I've had with VRBO properties.
It's always great when our efforts are appreciated. This guest was easy to communicate with and we would love to welcome a return visit! We could not ask for a smoother arrangement and it's always great to return to our property and know it was well taken care of. Thanks again!

We were visiting with our adult children and everyone loved the location. Easy access and the host was fantastic. She gave us great suggestions of things to do and see while we were visiting sunny California. Definitely recommend it.

**SECURITY DEPOSIT** This deposit will be credited back to your credit card the day after departure. Your 1st deposit will be made via credit card. The remaining balance may be made via credit card or e-check. When paying via e-check be sure to check the e-Check option box. For your convenience, we allow the total balance to be paid in full OR in two payments. If you're making two payments, we require . . . . . 1st Pmt. - Initial deposit upon acceptance of booking 2nd Pmt. - Remaining balance is due two weeks prior to arrival. Full payment is required for any guest arriving less than two weeks prior to arrival. **WITH REGARD TO REFUND POLICY** All cancelled reservations by guest are subject to a cancellation charge of $100.00 For reservations cancelled less than 60 days prior to scheduled arrival REFUNDS WILL BE MADE if we are able to re-rent the home all monies will be refunded less the $100.00 cancellation fee. No refund will be made for early departures or if number in party decreases. We realize that certain situations come up with regard to unexpected changes. WE MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO REBOOK OUR PROPERTY FOR LAST MINUTE CHANGES AND/OR CANCELLATIONS. As per our Rental Agreement, Lessee agrees to indemnify the owner for any damage of less to the property or its contents that occur during your stay. Violation of occupancy limits will result in the forfeiture of all monies and termination of occupancy. Further, you agree to abide by the rules and regulations of the community and refrain from any activity that interferes with the quiet enjoyment of its residents. We love our neighbors and want them to continue to love us. No parties, family reunions or large gathering on premises at any time. As we have many repeat guests that require a pet free environment due to allergies, we do not allow any pets inside the fenced perimeter of our property.
