Location is fantastic right on Placa Masséna close to everything including beach. Check in was smooth and fast - Laure met us and showed everything. The place was very clean, enough space for two adults and a toddler. Having AC in the 38 degrees heat was a gift.

The property was in a convenient location however on check in we were requested to pay 65 in cash for cleaning. This was in the description! We usually pay the full amount on booking and don't expect extra cost in cash on check in. The amenities were limited(no shampoo or conditioner) and the bedding and towels were not of a high quality.

Great location lovely flat right in the centre of town. All amenities as described. Easy to go anywhere walking or public transport. Lovely host and quick check-in, all was as described and working perfectly. We had a fabulous few days in Nice and we will be back!!! Loved it

We enjoyed our stay at this apartment very much! We could not have asked for a better location, literally just a few minutes to the Old Town, the Promenade, tons of restaurants and shopping. The unit was very clean and pictures in the listing are not accurate. Communication was efficient also. Note that there are 4 keys required to open all the doors to enter the apartment, and a couple of them were a bit tricky to unlock. A couple small things to note for future travellers: there is a cleaning fee as well as a late check-in/early check-out fee, both of which need to be paid in cash. The cleaning fee is in the listing, but we had to catch an early train to Paris so had to pay the early check-out fee which is NOT in the listing. However, hosts were upfront about this once we booked so I was prepared, but I would suggest this be put in the listing so the guests can be made aware upfront.Secondly, the building is in such a good location that there are unhoused people throughout Place Massena. Some people (including workers in the building) were leaving the two sets of front doors open, so there were several nights when an unhoused person was sleeping on the lower landing. They were respectful and we did not have any problems with them, but it is something to be aware of and would not have been a problem if people would have just closed the front doors rather than leaving them open.Altogether, it was still a great stay and I would recommend this place when visiting Nice!

Location is the reason why it get one star. I would have given half a star if that is available. Communications with agent Laure was bad! It took customer service of Vbro to intervene to get Host to listen.
The dish washer was in bad shape. It has mold (blue arrow) and left over food scraps in the trap (red circle). It was cleaned after we protest n five days later.
We had to wash dishes by hand and used most of the detergent. When asked for more supply, including a garbage bag, tissue and shapoo, we were told to shop our own. They charged an 65 Euro of cleaning fees but would not do so.

It was promised a full kithcen, instead there is no functioning dish washer, no spatula no chopping boards.

Oui malheureusement la personne qui fait habituellement le ménage a oublé de nettoyer le lave vaisselle, ce qui n est pas correct j en conviens, je suis intervenu personnellement pour le nettoyer complètement. . Laure est restée 45minutes pour le check in afin de tout expliqué sauf que ça n'était jamais assez alors qu un check in classique prend 15 à 20 minutes pour donner toutes les informations . Effectivement il y a tous les produits de base pour le check in et bien sur il faut faire vos courses si votre séjour est plus long que 3jours. Nous ne somme pas un fournisseur pour tous vos achats. Je pense que certaines personnes devraient aller à l hotel lorsque qu'elles ont besoin d assistance no stop

Amazing stay in Nice!

This property was perfectly situated in Nice, a short distance from the beach and surrounded by stores and restaurants to explore. The apartment was very clean and beautifully decorated, we felt at home there. Thank you for making our trip so great!!!

Great location

Ex onally good place, cloce to city center and all city activities. A but noizy due to trams and street performances, but i loved that all noise during my stay. Apartment clean and tidy and with equipment you may need.

Outstanding location!

The apartment was great and suited every need we had for a trip. Nice was to be a base of operation while we ventured out to Monaco for the F1 race and other locations. The location of the apartment is very close to a grocery store, restaurants galore and right next to the Nice Tram that takes you 2 stops to the Nice-Ville train station and from there, you can go anywhere! So if you are looking for a great location in Nice to stay while you tour around, look no further. Everything (beach, shops, restaurants, transportation, etc.) is just a short walk away.

Fantastic

Fab location literally right on Massena Sq. apartment is clean and very comfortable. Ideally placed to get about. Laure was great checking us in even though we were after midnight. (And told us to get the tram for 1.50 each rather than a taxi!).. very easy to get from airport to the square this way. Highly recommend this lovely apartment for your stay in Nice.

Great apartment in an amazing location

Massena square apartment is a super apartment in a cannot be better location. The apartment is spotless & well equiped. There was only 2 of us but I think it would be a little squashy for more. The main bed what I would rate as a small double bed - but perfectly comfortable. Do make sure you read all the “rules” to ensure you are aware of any extra costs with check in/out etc. Enjoy!

Everyone's different but this property didn't work well for us. The communication was poor, lots of hidden required costs (65 euros cleaning fee with the expectation told to us that we must do all our cleanings ourselves and their job after we leave is to change the bedsheet and towels, 30 euros fee for early or late checkout- we could just have left the keys inside the apartment and shut lock the door but they wanted to be there for checkout, insisting that they want to make it feel personable but in honesty, we didn't need it as we felt so tied down). It never felt personable anyway. Checkin was horrific. Communication to the manager was very poor. She said that she has many other properties to manage but really, that should not be our problem. They just gave us the building number but we had no idea the apartment #. Incorrect phone was given out and we tried to call and no one ever picked up, even during the time we stayed there. The checkin took us 2.5 hours to locate the manager to come with the neighbors' help. They gave us checkin time from 3pm-7 pm. Anything outside would cost extra. We felt too tied out with all the checkin and checkout process. This is not how we wanted while we are on holidays. We have learned from this experience moving forward.

Bed bugs infestation. Stay away from this place! I found 6 bed bugs in different parts of the apartment the very first hour after arrival. The host is incredibly rude, ignores all requests, and hides behind an apartment manager who is just as rude and useless. The place is lacking the most basic supplies and linens. Finally, the host asks for outrageous extra cash fees (cleaning, late check-in and early check-in) that are not listed on the website.
