Home Away from Home

Our stay at the Spoonbill was nothing short of amazing. Stacey and her team thought of everything to make you feel like you are right at home. The house was supremely clean and the decor with the mix of antiques and modern living gave the house such a unique vibe. One of the best (if not the best) part of the house are the 2 decks. We probably spent as much time, if not more outside. The panoramic view of the wetlands and the Bay from the back is breathtaking and the amount of nature (particularly birds and even some cows) was non-stop entertainment. The house is situated near a cul-de-sac with no houses on it so it is the last house giving the home a very private feel. We spent a lot of time looking for the right place to stay and we are so happy we found the Spoonbill. We will definitely consider coming back to the Spoonbill next time we visit Galveston.
