Breath taking views of the Buffalo River Valley and 5 minutes from Ponca!! What more can we say? Buffalo View Cabin, sits on a 6th generational farm, in the Upper Buffalo River area. Here you will find yourself getting to experience "tiny home living!" It's an unique experience like camping but with luxury and all the extras. This cabin is rugged and rustic and the interior is made out of 75% recycled materials, much of it rehabbed from local barns. This "Little" cabin can sleep 8 people and has *WiFi*. Private room with a Queen bed and tv, 2 loft areas (Queen bed and 2 Twins), and a hide-a-bed (Full) in the living area-with a beautiful view of the Ozarks! There is a fully functioning kitchen-oven and stove top, refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, some pots/pans, utensils, etc.... Outside you will find a large fire-pit with a covered grilling (charcoal) and picnic area that overlook the Buffalo River Valley. This cabin sits right in the middle of Ponca and the Compton Trailhead (both about 5-8min away!) *Sanitized, Bleached, Contactless Check-In, Rural Area(Social Distance Recommended), Beautiful Views!

Note: The Upper Buffalo Area is still a very rural area. Things like WiFi and cell service are a luxury and sometimes may be spotty. On the mountain there is sometimes extreme weather conditions-high winds and occasional icing at odd times. Fall and Winter get ice and snow. Also Buffalo View is on a working farm that grows hay and occasionally grazes livestock.

Perfect in between to camping or full lodging!!

We had a wonderful stay! The pictures made it look a little bigger than it actually was, but it ended up being the perfect alternative to us camping. Everyone in our group, ranging from ages 9 to 40, absolutely loved how quaint and cozy it was. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and memorable getaway. We would definitely stay again!

We loved this venue! The location was perfect and close to popular trails and the house had everything we needed to be comfortable for our weekend there. My only problem was I had asked a question via the website to the host about certain amenities 2 days before we left and it was never answered. That would have been very helpful to have answers prior to!

Great Getaway

This was our Second time to stay at this beautiful property. This is a sweet, clean and very comfortable cabin. The nights were clear and the stars were very visible because there is minimal light pollution in this area. This was our second stay here and it will not be our last!

This tiny home was exactly what we were looking for! It was secluded but close enough for the trails and the river. We ate every meal at the tiny home the kitchen was well stocked. We loved the fire pit and was able to see every star! It was an amazing trip and we will definitely be back!

Our family has been in Arkansas since 1819 and settled the Upper Buffalo River Valley in the 1830's. They settled in the Ponca and Boxley area, where much of our family still resides today.
Buffalo View Cabin sits on our families 6th generational farm. We live close by and are farmers and ranchers in the area. Our farm borders the Buffalo National Park to the South, with great views of the Upper Osage Watershed area and Buffalo River Valley. For many years we have wanted to find a way for others to enjoy the natural view of the Upper Buffalo area too. Finally, our dreams have come true and we have been blessed with the opportunity to share this experience with others. We wanted to give others an experience that was different than the average home or cabin. That's why we decided to go with the "Tiny Home Experience." We wanted to provide an unique experience that was like camping but with luxury and all the extras. We hope you enjoy your stay and get that tiny home camping feeling without having to rough it too much!! :)
