No need to leave the things you love about your home behind when you vacation! Our home features floor to ceiling windows, three expansive decks with a new outdoor stone fireplace, seasonal views, privacy, a cook's kitchen, and stylish decor. Located in Wintergreen Resort, it is convenient to all the amenities on the mountain, yet uniquely private. The home's backyard is the George Washington National Forest (1/3 mile away from the Appalachian Trail, which is best accessed directly from the house November - May because of the underlying foliage.) The rest of the year, a trailhead .5 miles down the road is the best access. The house is also situated across from the Shamokin Falls Trail on one of the most private double lots in Wintergreen.

Our home includes 2 master bedrooms, both with king beds and en suite bathrooms, 2 large living rooms, both with gas-fired stone fireplaces, a large well-stocked custom kitchen and a separate kitchenette on lower level making it the ideal vacation property for large family gatherings.

Our home is set up to sleep 14 in beds and 2 more in a brand new leather sectional king size pull-out sofa.

The main level features a spacious living room with brand new furniture and beautiful dry bar, soaring pine clad cathedral ceiling, a gorgeous stone gas fireplace, amazing 180° views of the forest, smart HDTV, Blu-ray DVD player. The bright kitchen has granite countertops, custom cabinetry, two sinks, all new appliances, large farmhouse table, and large island with bar sink and comfortable stools for additional seating.

From the kitchen you can access the large deck, which is equipped with a large gas grill and patio furniture, including a dining table for eight, high-top table seating four, and six comfortable Adirondack chairs. The wrap-around deck is a wonderful vantage point from which to enjoy the sunrise or sunset, or to watch the wildlife visitors. Also, a new third deck provides comfortable and private seating and a huge wood-burning fireplace.

The first floor also offers a powder room and a mud room with its own access door to the deck - perfect for coming in after a day of skiing! This level also has 2 bedrooms; one with two twin beds, and the other has a queen-sized bed. These rooms share a separate full bath with shower.

The 2 master bedrooms are located on the upper level; both feature king sized beds. One master bedroom looks out over the valley, has an en suite bathroom with 2 sinks, a claw foot tub and separate shower. The second master looks out to the George Washington National Forest and has an en suite bathroom with double sinks and shower. Between the two bedrooms is a reading nook, which looks out over the open plan living area of the main level.

The lower level has a large sitting room with gas stone fireplace, brand new furniture (including pullout king bed sectional) HDTV, and has direct access out to the lower deck. This deck has a porch swing, bar-top table with chairs, Adirondack chairs, corn hole set, and a ping pong table (paddles and balls supplied). Sitting area also includes kitchenette area equipped with fridge freezer, microwave, and sink. There are two bedrooms on this level with connecting french doors, making it ideal for families with young children. One has a queen-sized bed and the other has one set of bunk beds, and a single bed with a trundle bed underneath. These bedrooms share a separate bathroom with double sink, bath and separate shower. There is also a large laundry room/mud room on this level with washer and dryer and some exercise equipment. This is the main access room for the property as it leads directly out to the driveway, which has parking for four cars. Currently, the garage and apartment above the garage are not part of this rental and will not be occupied. They are used to house the owners' personal belongings.

Additional home amenities include free WIFI, Bose 300 speakers, ceiling fans in all bedrooms, and central air conditioning.
