Spectacular Breezes, Gorgeous Views, and Hot Tub!!
A spectacular setting! One of the best around to enjoy outstanding views and the gentle island breezes and some of the best stargazing on the island!
Drive up to a no stair entrance and master first floor living. The main level living room boasts 30 Ft. high gorgeous vaulted Cypress ceiling. The open concept living area has a fully equipped kitchen, living room, dining table for 6, books to read, games for the family, and strong internet for the remote workers in your group. All TVs are streaming only (Netflix, Youtube, etc). There is not good cable on the island so we dont have cable.
The main floor has the master bedroom which has a king bed, a smart TV, private door to the porch and hot tub, and private door to the main floor full bath. This is the bedroom that accommodates a no stairs vacation. This bathroom also is accessible from the living room, has two vanities and a shower that has no ceiling so you can privately shower under the stars.
Upstairs has two loft style bedrooms. One is larger and has a king bed that can be separated to make two twin beds. The other has a queen bed and an ocean view.
Going down the spiral stairs from the main level to the lower level. Here there is a second bathroom with a full shower, the laundry area, and various beach equipment for you to use.
The house was built on an angle with the island breeze in mind so feel free to open the house up and enjoy the breeze. You will be happily surprised. Should you prefer AC, there are AC units in the living room, master bedroom, and upstairs lofts.
The 40' x 12' porch has a 6 person whirlpool spa Hot Tub for relaxing after a wonderful day out, a dining table perfect for enjoying meals while listening to the surf, rocking and lounge chairs. Listing incorrectly says pool, it is referring to the Hot Tub. There is not a pool, there is a Hot Tub.
To get here you will fly into St Thomas Cyril E. King Airport (STT), from there you take a taxi or shuttle bus located just out the baggage claim doors. They only take cash. It is a 10 minute ride to the Crown Bay People Ferry operated by Inter Island Boat Service. The ferry is a beautiful 45 minute ride over to St John Cruz Bay. Alternatively you could take a 45 minute taxi/shuttle ride to Red Hook Ferry or Red Hook Car Barge. It is a 10-15 minute ferry/barge ride to St John. Please google for ferry times and rates.
Our wonderful property managers will meet you as you arrive on St John and help you navigate to the house, store, jeep rental, etc. Once at the house, she will go over the workings of the house and answer any questions you may have. We supply amenities like shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, towels, etc. A full list will be sent once you book or upon request.
There are taxis on the island but please make sure to ask for their schedule as it changes from day to day. You can rent a Jeep on St John or St Thomas. Jeep or SUVs are recommended over sedans due to the roads. We recommend you reserve your Jeep well in advance of your trip. If you are renting a Jeep on St Thomas to bring to St John, you will need cash for the port authority and for the barge ride. SUV rentals are usually best to secure right away as there can be vehicle shortages, check their cancellation policies.
For best prices, it is our recommendation to buy flights 6 months out or more.
The property is not shared with other parties. We do not accept toddlers. We do our best to keep everything perfect. Should something not be, we do our best to correct it asap. There are no discounts if non-working items happen. Our refund policy is attached to this page via a link. There are no discounts/refunds for acts of God. Rates are based on 4 guests, additional guest fee is $25 per person per night. All Holiday Weeks are a 7 night minimum. Please contact us for any clarifications needed.
Driveway entrance and front door are lit with motion lights. Front and side doors have deadbolts, slider doors have a pole in the slider and locks. There are gates at driveway entrance and porch entrance. Camera on premises looking at vehicle gate and entrance area.
We reccomend taking out Trip Cancellation Insurance. VRBO will offer theirs, or you can contact your local home insurance agency to ask about Trip Cancellation Insurance. If your agency does not offer Trip Cancellation Insurance you can check out Travel Guard or InsurMyTrip or any of your preference. Please let us know if you would like assistance with this.

Peter spent 35 years in the corporate world. When he retired, he designed, built and partially managed this Villa. Peter built it as a place where families could come and enjoy being together, St John, and the beaches together. Feel free to ask questions!

The view, the water, the weather, and some of the most beautiful hiking trails and beaches in the world!
Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial
80% of the view is the ocean! It has a 20' vaulted ceiling and plenty of sun light. The porch and lower terrance are private. The Villa has over 2400 square feet under roof...thus plenty of extra space. The primary feature is the view and trade wind breezes which usually eliminates the need for AC and blows away any bugs. The Villa has a large parking driveway and turn around area unique for the Island, and a driveway gate for privacy. Come enjoy!
