Could not have come up with a better place to stay! Friends were complimenting the find throughout the whole trip and the location made it easy to get everywhere we wanted to go.
Our group of 7 was so impressed with this house that we didn’t want to leave! The amenities, the clever and unique decor …so many special touches that made us feel at home!
This was a great house. My kiddos loved all the games in the house and the upstairs rooms.
I loved the aesthetic of the home and its location. Super Cute and owners very responsive.
We walked to Main Street to eat and shop. Went to lazy river off the river. What a great city with so few people it was refreshing! Beautiful landscape and opportunities to do outdoor things every moment! Good games in the house…twister!
Our family who lives in Colorado, PA and OR gathered for a time of biking, hiking and exploring the towns nearby. The home is decorated well and very clean. The bike trail along the Colorado River is impressive and we were happy to bike there from the house.
It was only an eight block walk to downtown, which we did several times, as well as some great houses and parks that we didn't know were there. We had a fine and relaxing time. Huzzah!
Pat was helpful in making arrangements and responded to messages quickly. The property was perfect for our large group. It is cozy, clean, and a comfortable size for eight people. I just wish we had had more time to enjoy the amenities like the covered deck and fire pit.
Nicely decorated and well set up house with lots of space for you to spread out. We were able to have 2 families join together for a short reunion and have space for games and for meals. It is hot in Grand Junction in the summer, as we expected, however we were disappointed we weren't able to cool the house down a little earlier in the evening. Our next trip will be in the fall and we hope to enjoy the back patio firepit and make some s'mores.

Thank you for the kind words. I am sorry the house was not cooling properly for you. When we arrived to clean the property we noticed it was warmer then usual, turns out the evaporative cooler had quit working properly. Next time it will be much cooler for you! Looking forward to having you back soon!
The TV system was awful. Negotiating to find desired channel was WAY too difficult! Go back to cable TV!!! All else was good.

Thanks for your input on the TV and sorry you didn't find the Roku TV easy to use. We have selected Roku to offer our guests the flexibility to use their desired streaming services without having to connect other devices, while having local channels available.
We spent the weekend in this lovely house with two other couples and a friend while in town for the Tour of the Moon bike ride. It was a great experience.
The house is charming with funky decor, comfortable beds and a nice backyard. I’ve rented lots of VRBO properties and this was by far the best equipped of them all. As an extra bonus, the beverage center with the sparkling water dispenser and different coffee options was a huge hit. Pat and Shawna thought of everything. They’ve done a lovely job of turning a 1910 bungalow into a very comfortable, modern space.
It was a warm weekend and the swamp cooler did a stellar job of keeping both the upstairs and downstairs nice and cool.
The location was very convenient—less than a mile to Main Street, so we parked the cars and didn’t need to use them all weekend.
Pat was easy to communicate with and answered my emails and texts right away. Although we didn’t meet in person, I could tell he’s a personable host.
We definitely will rent this home again if we’re in Grand Junction.
Pat did all the arrangement. He asked us to check in early but we didn’t reach till late night. Place was really nice and we enjoyed our stay. It had enough off street parking spot. Downtown was just 5 mins drive.
Must stay at this house! Check in and commutations with the host we’re great. All info about the property were clear and spelled out in writing about the property. The house was very nicely remodeled, old 1910 house has many very cool sleeping arrangements, nice details and a great outdoor living space with grills, fire pits and seating. Parking was easy in the front and side of the house. Walking distance to a lot of things. Would definitely stay here again!
Lovely house in very easy to access area of Grand Junction. We stayed with 5 kids and 4 adults and there was plenty of room. Kids loved the upstairs, porch, and firepit. Quick trip to Colorado National Monument, able to walk to downtown. Very clean and well stocked. We would stay here again!
It was a cute little house. Loved the fire pit and the amazing vintage decor. It was a little warm in the daytime. It was a very warm day though. In the evening it cooled off very nicely. Overall a nice place to stay.
It was a nice place to stay for our team while working. One of the things we really liked was there was a seltzer machine that provided really great seltzer water. A nice backyard with a grill! Overall we enjoyed it. Also the owner was very responsive when we needed something.
Shawna and Pat Warner live in Boulder, Colorado, but visit Grand Junction often.
They enjoy taking an easy walk downtown, a stroll through the lovely Colorado Mesa University campus or riding their bikes to the Lunch Loops and other great trails in the area.
There is so much to do, you’ll enjoy this charming, comfortable, centrally located home as much as we do.
