Best Location downtown GJ - Beautifully updated 2 Bedroom!
This historic downtown home in Grand Junction has been tastefully remodeled to preserve the original character of the home. Built in 1920, it is walking distance to Colorado Mesa University, downtown Grand Junction with all the great coffee shops, restaurants, and other downtown attractions. It is just a few minutes from St. Mary's Hospital, the Colorado National Monument and the Tabeguache mountain bike trails.
That this house was perfect for our needs. Centrally located and fully stocked with amenities. Weâll definitely book this rental again when weâre in town!
Perfect location as we were attending event downtown. An additional friend stayed with us. The property was very roomy with great outdoor area for relaxing with friends
We really enjoyed our time in this home! Itâs really clean, well appointed and in a great location. Itâs walkable to everything Main St. has to offer and is centrally located to so much more. Truly a great home!
This is our second time staying at this home. Itâs perfect for a family. The location is fantastic! We walked to downtown and to CMU. We hung out on the back deck and enjoyed the nice weather.
Although an older home, we were impressed with the new finishes and comfortable feel within the home. A sense of pride in ownership is easily recognized in this property. We look forward to our return
We had such a positive experience in Grand Junction. Connie, the host, was accommodating, accessible, helpful and kind. The house is comfy and had everything we needed while being in a convenient location for our activities.
Besides family time we were hoping to get to know both the city and CMU - and this was the perfect location for all the above. Plenty of space and amply supplies for a family with 4 kids to relax. The location provided optimal opportunities for waking to downtown and the college. The host was very welcoming and receptive to our questions.
Owner is neglectful of maintenance. Closet door was freestanding and not attached to anything and fell over onto my child. Bathroom doorknob was installed backwards and resulted in my wife being accidentally trapped in the locked bathroom. Bed was improperly assembled and collapsed on my child. Bedroom floor was damaged and dangerously splintered. Vulgarity was posted on the wall in the kids room as decorations. Dryer was not connected and vented into the house when used. Front facing windows were missing blinds and had broken incomplete window coverings, exposing our private space to the busy street in front.
Some how over bookwd even after lengthy discussion of plans and "late checkout". Called while at wedding and told Bride she had to get out now. Moved all the food for the after gathering out of house in heat of yard. Lost over $700.00 in food spoilage! I am disgusted by how this was handled. No class. No compassion. No personal responsibility. Bo resolution!! Our LARGE family will all be sharing this experience loudly!!
The home was easy to find, very well stocked and clean. The owner was very easy to contact and was responsive when we had questions.
I did have a problem initially getting in as there is a lockbox and a doorbell. In the past the lockbox for rental homes always had the key. Not in this case as the code was connected to the door bell system. I called the owner and she helped. I suggested that the lockbox serves no purpose and should state that in the check in process. If I had not reached the owner, I would not have been able to get into the home.
This was a great stay for our family. There was plenty of room, everything was clean, and we had all we needed. We especially appreciated quality cookware in the kitchen and that there many things available that are often overlooked, such as a colander, cutting board, and spices. There were nice outdoor seating areas, although we didn't use these. We would stay again if we are in the area.
