My spouse and I stayed with our adult children and a few other adult members of our family. My 2 grandchildren stayed with us, as well. The home was perfect for our group; the four bedrooms and 2.5 indoor baths (plus outdoor shower) provided plenty of space for our large group. The home was clean, had lots of supplies and, again, offered plenty of space for use to spread out; we especially loved the back yard patio area! It was great in the evenings.
Now for the rest: neither air conditioning unit in the master suite worked well for the duration of the stay (it was a cool week, however the bedroom would get hot in the afternoons due to sun coming through the windows and the steam from the shower). There were a few fans, so we used those and stayed cool enough. The entire stretch of beach out back of the home is positively unusable due to the amount of granite (nearly no sand) and broken sea shells. I read an earlier review that mentioned a lot of shells, but assumed that meant a lot of good shelling. This was not the case; the beach is made of, almost entirely, broken sea shells and hard orange granite/granules.
We tried to enjoy it, however no one wanted to spend time on that beach. We opted to drive down to Anastasia Island 3 days of our week long trip to the beaches there.
Ultimately we could have stayed anywhere and drove 30+ minutes to the beach much cheaper. Buyer beware: this is a beautiful beachfront home, however the beach is awful.
