Beach Blessing - Destin Gulfgate 0501!

Attention Valued Guests: We are excited to announce that we are beginning renovations at Destin Gulfgate on November 1, 2022 and expect to complete the work during the first week of May, 2023. The largest portion of this project is the painting and waterproofing of the buildings' exteriors. Our number one priority is always the safety of our guests, owners, vendors, and staff. Coming in at a close second is your satisfaction and enjoyment at Destin Gulfgate. We welcome all guests during this time; however, you will notice work taking place if your stay is planned between November 2022 - April 2023. While a project of this size will likely have an impact to those staying on property, every effort is being made to minimize disruptions. We will be updating our guests regularly via text and email. You can also check out our blog post for updates directly on the Destin Gulfgate website.

Step in and unwind in this completely redesigned 2 bedroom/2 bath Gulf-front condo. You won’t find a better spot than your 30’ private balcony to enjoy the stunning views of the Emerald coast. Located on the 6th floor this condo has everything you need and more. The private balcony can be accessed by way of the living room or master suite. Entering the master bedroom, you will find a king size bed with an attached fully renovated bathroom, to include walk-in shower. The guest room has plenty of space for everyone with two queen size beds to choose from. The kitchen has been completely updated to include cabinets, granite and stainless steel appliances. In the wet bar you will find a separate ice maker, perfect for filling up your cooler on the way to the beach. Need to do some laundry? No problem! This unit has a full-size washer and dryer in the laundry room. There is a reserved, covered, parking space in the garage. This unit offers free beach service March 1st through the Sunday after Thanksgiving. (Monthly reservations do not receive complimentary beach set-ups.)



Condo does not have a landline phone and is non smoking. For monthly reservations (over 28 days) please contact Destin Gulfgate directly.

Gulfgate is the only place I want to stay in Destin. The front desk girls are awesome! The unit was very clean, decorated lovely, everything you could want in the kitchen, dishes, cookware, kitchen towels, new appliances and big washer/dryer. Although I don't cook on vacation, everything you could want was there if you wanted to. The beds were so comfy, nice sheets and plenty of pillows. Loved the comfy leather living room furniture and big screen TV's. Bathrooms were lovely with big walk in showers and plenty of towels. We want to stay in this unit again next year!!!

For it being durning the pandemic I would have thought the rooms would have special attention. Some updates have been done which is so nice. The dryer was out for 6 of the 10 days we were there. We rented three rooms for our family. I would say we all felt about the same for our rooms. We did find mold also. We had a wonderful vacation! The thought of the units doubled in price will make us look elsewhere. We love the location of gulfgate.

Also the unit next to us had smokers and they smoked all day and night. We could not stay on balcony The unit 501 was not the best. We did not have an ice machine in the refrigerator and had to use the ice maker only. I did not like the condo. The units are not worth what you are charging with the dynamic pricing. I won’t stay with you again at those prices. It is not worth it

Our experience has always been a great one. In fact, we look forward to booking our next experience. Unfortunately, we found out that the condos were increasing in rates (almost $3000 more than what we currently pay). We spent our vacation last week trying to find a new place to stay. We will no longer be able to afford the cost to stay. We also talked to several other families that come back every year who stated they would have to go somewhere else too. I hope Destin Gulfgate examines the cost and makes changes.

Great Location

The condo was very clean. Really enjoyed the private beach and they provide 2 beach chairs & an umbrella. a very short walk to the Back Porch restaurant which had great food & drinks.
