Welcome to relaxation at the beach - and lake! This lakefront Vista getaway located in Sea Colony's Tennis Community offers the best of both worlds: A short walk or tram ride to the beach (less than one mile), and a lakefront location with nearby tennis courts, fitness center, swimming pools, and walking trails.

New owners have replaced all kitchen appliances, bedding, bathroom decor, TVs, and the sleeper sofa. Two out of four rooms have gorgeous lakefront views, while the other two offer views of nature and wildlife. The fully-equipped kitchen and appliances provide all that you will need during your getaway including a power blender perfect for those morning smoothies, and two coffee machines to get your java fix. The main level includes two guest rooms (queen and two twin beds), a living room queen sleeper sofa, a king bed main suite, and two full baths. Blackout curtains and new mattresses ensure your rest at night will be as comfortable as possible. An open-concept kitchen, living room, dining room, and gas fireplace create an inviting and easy-to-navigate floor plan. The second-level queen bed loft has an en-suite full bathroom and front-row views of the lake. This retreat has reliable WiFi, TVs in each room (including a Roku in the loft and access to tv streaming apps and cable in all other rooms), central air conditioning, a washer, a dryer, and a jacuzzi tub in the main bath.

The comfort, four spacious double bedrooms, enough to leisurely accommodate 6 friends, plenty of dishes to cook in and serve, large fridge and comfortable bathrooms, all with tubs. Beautiful surroundings and heavenly beach. There is a great massage place nearby, too.

We loved the amount of space we had for our family. We were close to the fitness center and pools. Some of the appliances didn’t work well and the dryer was pretty difficult to access with its proximity to the fridge, but nothing that put a damper on our week.

Excellent 4 night July stay

We had six family members, including three healthy older members in their mid 70s stay for four wonderful nights in the condo. The unit is on the second floor, so those with mobility issues might have had a bigger issue, but our stay was fantastic. It is a very spacious condo, nicely updated within the past couple years, and the amenities available were greatly appreciated. The washer and dryer are just off the kitchen and while a tighter squeeze for some to access the washer, it was great to have in unit laundry available. We all agreed we would certainly stay in this condo again if visiting Bethany Beach in the future and would highly recommend anyone considering staying in this condo to do so without reservation.

Roomy Place - Nice View

This was a roomy place (actually had three bedrooms, plus a loft that was used as a bedroom). We wanted to love the place, but the carpet was badly stained in many places and that really bugged our group. We did love the porch overlooking the water, and spent most of our time there. Very beautiful view - quiet and peaceful place. If they replace the carpet, this will be a good place to recommend.

Location in sea colony was good, nice view and layout of place was good (except for the laundry). Unit is not well maintained. Carpet was so dirty that we had to buy an area rug for the main room. Toilet paper holders/towel bars broken. Bedding was not in good shape/clean. The unit was not clean when we arrived so we had to wait 3 hours to get into the unit and even after cleaned, we had to re-clean some areas. Very stingy with the linens provided and some were so stained, they could not be used. Requested replacements twice but never received.

Description of unit

Needs more seating in living room. I’ve been in similar units. They all had either sofa and loveseat or sectional and an additional chair. Also carpet needs a deep clean. It was disgusting. My suggestion is to replace with a laminate or vinyl floor. Cleaning service needs to clean better. Especially under the beds where we found food. Bedding was very comfortable and kitchen was up to date.

Nice home away from home

I loved that there were 3 bathrooms which made it comfortable for 7 people. The loft even had it's own bathroom. Seating in the living area was sparse. Another couch would have been welcomed. The screened in porch was great to allow us to be outside but away from the bugs and sun. It was very peaceful overlooking the lake, but unfortunately it's a bit difficult to see the lake from the porch because of the trees. The unit was clean and there were plenty of linens. The kitchen was fairly well stocked, but we did end up buying mallets and crackers when we had crabs one night. The beds were ok, not super comfortable unless you like a really firm mattress. Sea Colony, in general, is an awesome place to stay! We love the indoor and outdoor tennis courts and it's a quick tram ride to the beach. All in all, I would recommend staying here.

This rental was very close to the Marketplace, tram, pool and beach! The home was spacious and comfortable! The rental has both a deck, and a screened in porch! We enjoyed the home and all of the recreation which Sea Colony offers!

Vacation 2021

I've been vacationing at Sea Colony for 40+ years. This was the first time I stayed on the West side. I did miss waking up to the sounds/sights of the ocean every morning. I wanted to have all the kids be able to have their own space this year, so I opted for a larger West side unit. The unit was just the right size for our family. The 4 bedrooms and 3 baths were great. The screened in porch was nice and breezy during the evenings. The view of the pond was nice. The kids enjoyed fishing. Beware of ticks and snakes! We found out the hard way.(That's why I only gave it 4 stars.) Overall, we had a nice vacation, and look forward to staying again---hopefully owning someday too!

Great stay

We really enjoyed the property and its location...close to the fitness center, the heated outdoor lap pool, and the tennis center. The property was clean, well equipped with TVs/Wifi, and a fully equipped kitchen. The blue heron and geese in the nearby pond were a bonus.
