We now have new living room furniture, two bathrooms with showers and a 1/2 bath along with a 16x30 deck! A queen bed has been added to the lower level as of May 2020. Also, as of summer 2018, we have a better lakefront that's bigger, more private and has wildlife galore for you nature lovers. In 2019, we installed a 18x36 pool ready to go weather permitting by Memorial Day weekend. It will be open through Labor Day. Weather permitting, we try to keep open through September and with our new solar heating, chances are good will be able to do so.

We strongly advise you to obtain trip insurance! 25% down is required to reserve your dates(non refundable) and the balance is paid on your credit card 90 days from your arrival. If your booking date is less than 90 days, the entire rental fee is due to reserve your dates. If you do not purchase damage insurance through the site, then your damage deposit will be your credit card information to be kept on file.

We are meticulous about cleanliness with frequent cleanings of carpet and upholstery along with airing out the house along with an air filtration machine running 24/7. House has in floor heating, so no air ducts that collect debris blowing into the air space of the home.

With the home up the hill 800 ft from the road overlooking the lake, our lakefront is about 1 mile down the road that is private and spacious with 3 kayaks, canoe, rowboat, paddleboat and life jackets for your usage.

Sledding during the winter on our driveway is the best around. Pickup Truck taxi rides up our 800ft driveway in the winter for sledding cost extra. Your kids will love it!

DeRuyter Lake:: DeRuyter Lake is 10 miles south of Cazenovia tucked in the rolling hills of central New York. We are far enough in the country for privacy and yet only 30 minutes from the Syracuse, Cortland or Oneida city life. The Finger Lakes and Ithaca are less than a hour away also. Cooperstown is about 1hr, 20min. away.
