Condo, 2 Bedrooms, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 4)
Cozy and comfortable, this newly remodeled, second story condo is full of light. It is beautifully decorated with new furniture and lovely paintings on the walls. And the panoramic view of the beach and ocean is just what the doctor ordered!
The kitchen is finely appointed for even the most gourmet of cooks. It now boasts a beautiful granite wraparound counter with stylish new swivel chairs with hydrolic height adjustment. You can converse with the cook, spin around to talk to someone on the couch, then turn again to take in the breathtaking vision of the ocean. New lighting, fans, kitchen cupboards and paint really make this condo a show place. And the ocean is seen from every angle....
The deck has a table with four comfortable chairs for relaxing dining pleasure......or sit back and take a snooze by the sound of the waves in one of two oversized teak rockers.
And if it's the sandy beach you crave, help yourself to the beach chairs and water toys located in the box on the deck. Full of beautiful shells, the fine white sandy beach is wide and uncrowded. And right in front of the condo is what is known by the locals as the 'hot zone' for finding ancient sharks teeth of all shapes and sizes.
Our condo is located just south of Main Beach, with the historic town of Fernandina Beach just minutes away. Enjoy great shopping, plenty of casual and/or fine dining and Fernandina's very own Farmer's Market every Saturday morning.
There is so much to do - from exploring Fort Clinch to touring the beautiful historic Victorian homes by horse and buggy. There is golf, tennis, hiking and biking. And exploring beautiful Cumberland Sound on a chartered sailboat or fishing boat is an experience not soon forgotten. We are one of the last beaches in the country that still allow horseback riding right on the beach.
We host the fabulous Concourse DeElegance every year, as well as the Fernandina Beach Annual Shrimp Festival. Other annual events include the Amelia Island Book, Jazz, Blues and Chamber Music Festivals - no wonder we love living here!
This is our second home, even though it's just minutes from our primary residence. If you need anything, we're only a phone call away, so be sure to give us a ring.
Oh...and well behaved dogs...let's talk.

About leslie ritter
Steve and I got married on the beach in front of the condo, September of 2008. The double rainbow just before the ceremony was a good omen! We love this place and hope you do too! It has a wonderful aura that we noticed the first time we walked in.

We visited during construction on the beach so had to walk down about 6 properties & then down to the ocean. No fault of the owner, just a tiny inconvenience.
The condo itself was great for my family of 4. Not a spacious place, but everything we needed. Didn’t spend much time inside anyway!
It was clean but did smell like pets, especially upon first entering or returning after being gone for several hours. Aired out quickly upon return. I only mention this for anyone who has pet allergies—I imagine this place not suiting you. We loved the ocean & nothing else really mattered.
One small thing we appreciated...lots of hooks! So many properties have no place to hang a towel. Appreciated ample hooks & hangers!
This is the first time I've ever heard of pet odors. I will most definitely check into it!
My guest did not mention that when I found out about the beach re nourishment program, I offered a choice of a 21% rebate, or cancellation of their contract with a full refund. They opted for the 21% rebate.
Wonderful place for people and dogs
This is a perfect spot to a prime piece of beach, with a beautiful interior and great accommodations for us and our two dogs, and a second bedroom for a family bigger than ours. The deck overlooking the ocean has its own little gate to the beach stairs and a privacy wall with the neighbor's deck. It's convenient to everything, and Leslie was very helpful with recommending restaurants. And the neighbors were very friendly. Don't forget to tour Fort Clinch, a very cool reconstructed fort very close by. A delightful Christmas week vacation!
Perfect Location and View
We had yet another wonderful stay on our third visit here. The condo could not be in a more perfect location. We are already looking forward to our next trip. Leslie is a joy to rent from.
Incredible beachfront location
This condo is perfectly located. We enjoy the sunrise views from the deck as well as evening refreshments. Restaurants and shops of charming historic Fernandina are a short drive away. The scenic Egans Creek Greenway is within a short walk. The beach is large, clean, uncrowded and dog friendly. The condo itself is cozy, clean, peaceful and comfortable. The owners are accessible and helpful - what more could you want?
Couldn't get much better
Location. Location. Location. This place has it. And a very nice second-floor deck overlooking the ocean with a short stroll over the boardwalk, down a short beach path with sea oats, and then onto the beach. Pitch your beach umbrella or EZ Up and enjoy. This isn't the fanciest place on the island - we saw those places further to the south - but we found this cottage to be much more to our liking. Great room and kitchen is updated, roomy and very "homey." Master bedroom was comfortable and spacious. Deck has a divider wall between you and the adjacent rental next door, which provides a nice touch of privacy. Beach shower and spray hose right at the bottom of the steps to clean feet and sandy dogs. Deck is pretty hot in the morning, but an excellent place to be in late afternoon and evening for a refreshing drink. Supermarket and other shops are an easy five-minute drive to pick up groceries and other essentials for the week such as paper towels, TP and perhaps dish soap and laundry detergent (this is a rental, so it's not a full-service, everything provided hotel). Coffee maker is a Keurig (which I'm not a fan of) so we found a 6-cup French Press at the local Publix for $12 and it worked great for the week. Short, five-minute drive to historic and scenic downtown Fernandina Beach with numerous shops and fine restaurants. Fort Clinch State Park is also a short drive away. This was our first trip to Fernandina Beach and we will likely return - I don't see any reason to consider any other lodging on the island other than this Seagate rental.
Beautiful views of the ocean!
Great location! Spectacular sunrises! Close to Ft Clinch and Historic Fernandina Beach.
