About Colorado Owners
We purchased this condo in 2006 followed by a 2nd Two Bedroom Unit as our family grew in March of 2015 , and live close by in Denver! Melissa was born and raised in Colorado, and met Todd about 13 years ago. Unlike investment properly owners, we use and update this condo regularly!

Why Colorado Owners chose East Village at Copper
We are undergoing extensive remodeling this year in the fall of 2014 including all new flooring in the living room and dining areas and a new in-wall, large storage unit in the bedroom that doesn't detract from any of the square footage. Copper Springs Lodge was the newest and most well kept building in East Village. Having spent the past 20 years skiing Copper, we felt that East Village has the fewest crowds of any base village on the front range in Colorado.
What makes this Condo unique
Our unit has a full 5.1 stereo system with 8 total speakers, more than average seating with a pull out sectional with queen sized mattress, and an oversized patio with end table and two chairs. The unit is also on the outside of the building for more unimpeded views and is in a quiet wing away from much of the lobby traffic. Our Professional Cleaning staff used prior to your stay are hard to beat as well!

Perfect easy location for Copper!
We loved this condo for spring break! Small but perfect location and super comfy. Kitchen was well stocked and the three of us had a wonderful trip. My kids adored all the movies that were available to watch. I loved leaving skis outside the back door! They played outside in the snow most mornings just outside the back door. Only downside is the sofa bed not super supportive so make sure only light weight kids on that. My two weigh 75/80 lbs each and they weren’t able to get comfortable together on it. Owner was super easy to work with as well.
Good but not great
Fantastic location. Well stocked. Helpful organized owners. Worn carpet, lampshade, main rug and stiff shower liner downgrades the premium.
My apologies for our unit being GOOD, and not great. Please allow me to address each of these points line by line for future guests who may be interested in hearing my side of your story on your gracious 3 star review as well:
1) Stiff Shower Curtain – I inspected this post stay. It is a newer shower curtain in very good shape. We tried cashmere, but it kept getting wet and moldy. I will note that newer plastic curtains do soften over time, and I’m optimistic about the future of this particular curtain, which will be replaced each year or every other.
2) Worn Carpet – Per our conversation when I conducted a courtesy call with you on your check out day, you are referring to the threshold between the bedroom and living area. The flooring in the entire unit minus the bedroom is new porcelain tile. I am going to be adding a threshold to this shortly that will address this problem of fibers sticking up. No other carpet is ripped in the unit, and in fact is shampooed each year and is in good shape and is of high quality.
3) Lampshade – Also, as discussed on the courtesy call, we had a rowdy set of guests who punctured the main lampshade and caused a 3 inch rip in it. This will also be replaced shortly, but requires ordering special material which takes some time. No other lampshades are ripped at this time as of March 2019.
4) Main Rug – I inspected this throw rug in the main living room area and did not find excessive wear. It was shampooed no less than 6 months ago. Some of the fibers do sit lower than they did when new a few years ago. We will be replacing this rug when its period of performance expires.
I do believe for future stays, you might want to consider the Luxury Collection in Vail or the St. Regis in Aspen for your next vacation during the holiday weekend you stayed with us. Having personally stayed at both properties, I think you will find both will meet your expectations on fit and finish and are both fairly high end (though sadly now over $1,500 a night during your booking week each year). I am more than happy to assist you make these reservations in the future, to ensure satisfactory stays at other properties down the line. Warmest regards and hope you enjoy your continued retirement!
Magnificent condo with everything you need, located in the heart of the action.
Todd the owner was awesome! He was very helpful with any additional questions we had. The condo itself was well furnished with good appliances and kitchen supplies. The heated garage is a big plus! And it's right across from the main bus station that takes you to any of the lift locations. We rented gear and stored it in the provided ski locker. Admittedly the locker is barely big enough to fit one snow board and a pair of skis with associated gear. So if you had more than 2 guests you may need additional accommodations. Overall it was perfect and we would absolutely recommend it. Although East village is more for advanced runs, the buses come every 10 min to take you to intermediate and beginner areas. So don't let the location sway you!
Garrett & Jennifer
Hi Garrett - Thanks so much for allowing us to host you, it was great to meet you during your stay! Also, glad you found the condo very accommodating. Regarding the ski locker, you are very right, it was really designed to fit 4 sets of skis with provided hooks which it does very easily (I've managed to sneak 6 in there myself!) or 2 snowboards, but when you combined skis and snowboards over 4-5 pairs, it's definitely more convenient to utilize either the back very large patio area by the door (no one ever bothers them, in my experience) or if you have very expensive skis/boards, in your vehicle in the heated garage, which is pretty close to the lobby. Hopefully, it wasn't too much of an inconvenience however for you. Safe Travels and hope to have you back next year! Todd & Melissa
Nice condo and convenient location
The condo is very nicely appointed. The building is a very short walk to the Superbee lift. Having a indoor parking garage is also a plus.
Thanks, Martin, for the kind words. Would certainly love to host you again in the future!
This condo is everything it is advertised to be. Stayed there March 4th through the 8th. Short walk to the lifts and the condo complex has ski lockers, hot tub, indoor heated garage and recreation area with pool table. The unit is well equipped with pots and pans, coffee maker, 2 flat screen TV's, DVD player and cable TV and Netflex. Would surely stay there again.
Thank Ronald! I could not have asked for a better guest! Hope you will consider returning to Copper Springs lodge next year or during the summer months, magical months in Summit county for sure.
Great condo, close to the slopes
This was a great condo, right by the slopes. The owners made everything easy and it was just as described. Highly recommended.
Thanks so much for your stay and kind words. So glad you had a good experience at our condo in East Village's Copper Springs Lodge. We hope to host you again soon this summer or winter!
Horseback riding is available on the shuttle or a short walk from the unit as well.
