Book with a Local! We live full time in Gulf Shores, and pride ourselves on taking great care of our guests. The area is awesome and we are happy to take time and share our knowledge.

All new kitchen appliances for 2026 as well as new cabinets throughout the kitchen and bathrooms! Plus new Sofa!

OVERVIEW

Do you want a luxurious Gulf front vacation with great amenities at an affordable price? Our Condo is for you! This 1250 square foot, 3 bedroom and 2 bath unit gives you front row seats on the beach and Gulf. There is NOTHING but a pool between you and the water... Dig your toes into the sugar white sand and relax, or play in the oceanfront pool! Watch the sunrise without getting out of the king sized bed in your oceanfront master suite.

CONDO

Perfect for families and affordable for couples, our unit is loaded with extras to make your stay enjoyable. We have put a lot of thought into setting up the Condo and have four flat screen TV's, DVD players, board games, books, beach chairs, beach umbrella, and sand toys there for you to use. You don’t need to drag all that stuff with you from home! We even have a pack-n-play and a portable high chair for the little ones…

The master bedroom has a King bed with doors opening onto the balcony and an amazing view. You can literally watch the sunrise from bed! There is a wall mounted flat screen TV and a large closet, as well as a spacious master bath with double vanity. Our second bedroom has a queen bed and twin bunks for the kiddos. The third bedroom has another queen bed. And our second bath is a tub/shower combo.

The comfy main living area has another flat screen TV, comfortable seating, and gulf views. The large tiled balcony adds another 180 square feet of space to spread out. Have dinner on the outside table, or relax on the loungers and watch for dolphins.

Of course there is also a fully equipped kitchen. A frig, dishwasher, microwave, stove, washer/dryer, blender, toaster, coffeemaker, pots, pans, dishes, etc... If I have it in my kitchen at home, it is there at the condo too! And a full sized washer and dryer for those sandy beach towels...

BUILDING

The Legacy Building is located 1.3 miles from the Hwy 59 Intersection and the Hangout. It has free WIFI, an elevator, and luggage carts in the lobby. A low density building with only 23 total units, you wont be waiting for the elevator or crowded at the pool! The pool area boasts a waterfall and a BBQ grill area.

AREA

If you aren't familiar with Gulf Shores, it is an awesome location. We have a little library of guidebooks and area information in the Condo for you to use. And since we live in the area, I am happy to share my area knowledge and spend time talking with you and helping to plan your trip. You can golf, shop, parasail, bike and hike in the state park, eat at great restaurants, take a day trip to the Blue Angel Museum in Pensacola or the Battleship Alabama in Mobile (getting tired yet?) Or you can hang out on the beach all day, and have pizza delivered in at night. The choice is yours!

The mild temperatures in the off season, pool, and wealth of area attractions make our condo a great vacation spot year round. Come and stay at our place!!!

We are locals, and Janet has been managing rental properties for 20 years and is a Premier Partner on VRBO. We have a 1BR in Orange Beach, 37135, and a two bedroom almost next door in Gulf Shores, 351644. So check out our other properties too!

My husband and I grew up in Pittsburgh PA, but always loved the beach. After jobs took us to Clearwater, FL and Wilmington, NC, we moved to Daphne, AL about 20 years ago with our two children and fell in love with the area. We purchased our first one bedroom condo at that time. (Emerald Skye 41, VRBO 37135) Jobs then took us to Columbus, OH and Kansas City, MO over the next 20 years but we were back to our beloved Gulf Coast several times a year. We purchased a two bedroom in 2011 (Surfside Shores 2305, VRBO 351644) and then in 2020 purchased this unit (Legacy 402, VRBO 2314352). Janet has been managing the condos herself all this time.

We always knew we would be back full time, and in 2022 took the leap and moved into a house in the area! We can enjoy the Gulf Coast life and take even better care of our guests.

I manage the rentals myself, allowing me to keep costs low. We have have a great housekeeper and maintenance man, and pride ourselves on being super responsive to our guests! Our Condos have developed a loyal following of repeat visitors and we hope you become one of them!

Why they chose this property

Orange Beach and Gulf Shores are every bit as beautiful as pricier Florida destinations.

We fell in love with the Legacy Building walking past it on the beach from our other unit in Surfside Shores which is about a block away. We loved that it is a low density building so not a ton of guests using the elevators and the pools.

Now that the "kids" are 23 and 21, we were ready for a bigger unit for our family also.

I love dolphin watching from the balcony, and usually manage to see some each trip. I am also an amatuer photographer and you will find me on the beach at sunrise and sunset capturing the view...
