Cozy cabin equipped with everything you would need for a wonderful winter stay. Would be great in the summer too. Hosts were great, they live nearby and were very responsive to questions. Added plus- you are 5 minutes from Viroqua but feel like you are out in the country. Trail system reachable down the road. Would definitely stay again!

My childhood friends and I gathered at this property to spend quality time together. This cabin was comfortable, cozy, spotless, and had excellent air conditioning, which was important this weekend! Nice christmas stay

We enjoyed our time at this property. Rather small seating area in the living room but it was fine for the 3 of us. Nice sleeping area on the second floor. You get the feeling of being in the woodsey outdoors but just a quick 2 mile drive into town.

Quiet Getaway

We enjoyed our city escape, surrounded by nature. It was easy to explore the driftless area from here. Highly recommend Driftless Angler and Driftless Cafe, as well as the Historic Fortney.

Hello, I'm Mary Henry and a retired school administrator and teacher. My husband Don is Marine Veteran and a long career in Law Enforcement. We own this property with our son Taylor, who lives at the adjacent farm. We love to travel and greatly enjoy sharing our love for the Driftless Area with our guest. Don grew up on his family farm and now our son Taylor is converting the conventional farm we purchased to Restoration Farming and Land Management to protect and develop the land use in an ecofriendly way.

Why they chose this property

We had purchased the farm first in March 2020. The owner of this cabin that is adjacent to the farm, decided he wanted to sell his new cabin and we thought it would be a wonderful addition to our property. The cabin is perfectly located to all attractions in the area.

You will feel like you're in a remote and secluded area with all the benefits of being conveniently located close to town. We are centrally located to many outdoor attractions, experiences and activities.
