The lofted cabin is beautiful and very comfortable for five adults. We appreciated the top quality appliances, mattresses, bed, linens, and access to musical instruments. We had a lovely evening during a big rain storm sitting out on the screened in porch.

We had a wonderful stay, family of 4 with dog. The property is gorgeous and we enjoyed the cozy, yet modern accommodations of the cabin. Host Rodney was super communicative as well!

We had a great adventure to say the least. Beautiful drive to the property and a mountain goat climb to the top of the hill to a beautiful rustic cabin. We got 5" - 6" of monsoon like rain on Friday night so I am very glad that I have an F-150 so it got a little bit of a workout going back down the hill and the gravel road washed out with a med. size tree down that I have to put the truck into 4 x 4 and climb over the tree to make it to our booth at the Driftless Art Fair. The next morning going back down the driveway there was a huge dead tree down across the driveway. Got ahold of the Host and he was there within 20 minutes and got the tree pulled out of the drive and we were back on our way to the Art Fair. Note to self: "get a tow strap" The Host and Hostess were great!!!!!!

We had a great stay in two of the Cabins on the property. Rodney was a great host and was there for anything we needed. The property has wonderful trails and the setting is very peaceful and calm. The cabins are well equipped with great drinking water and water pressure which you usually don’t find in a rural setting. Will definitely come back again!

We love staying here, we have returned 7 times. Our dogs think it's their second home and it sure feels like it us. The property is magical it has great hiking trails through woods and a prairie with abundance of wildlife. Amazing birding and beautiful dark night skies. The cabin is very comfortable, the kitchen is well appointed, the shampoo smells amazing.Our favorite spot to end every night is the screened porch. We can't wait to book our next visit.

This was our second time staying in Rodney's cabins. The cabins are perfectly situated in the woods but close to Viroqua for everything that town has to offer. Will definitely book again. Thanks to Rodney for a great getaway.

Repeat stay - love this place!

I think this is going to be a regular getaway location for us. We love the cabin, communication with Rodney is fantastic, and the location is peaceful/remote yet close to town to grab coffee, dinner, groceries, etc.

Great weekend getaway

We enjoy the Driftless region and this cabin is just another great example of why. Very quiet and secluded, we were able to enjoy nature and loved the fact that this property was surrounded by public lands. We look forward to coming back and to see this property evolve.
