About Shirley Filliater
This was Shirley's first house, which she bought in 1985. When we got together and Pete's son moved in with us, we moved to a larger home two miles away. But, we love the university area. There is always something to do close by -- a concert, a festival, a sporting event, or just taking a walk. We will probably move back to our ASU house in the next few years so, when we recently remodeled it, we decorated it with care. We hope you enjoy! - Shirley and Pete

Why Shirley Filliater chose Mitchell Park West
It is fun to live in this neighborhood. It is quiet but close to a lot of activity. ASU students as well as home-owners live throughout, making the neighborhood upbeat and lively. Pete and Shirley have lived in the area since 1985.
What makes this House unique
The house is conveniently located to ASU and the numerous activities that occur there. You can always find something to do within minutes. A dog park is located at the end of the street so it is entertaining to just sit in the front yard, watching the neighbors walking to the park each night.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The Property was very well maintained inside and out. It had a well equipped kitchen. I was very impressed with both Shirley and Pete, they made it a special point to stop by and introduce themselves... a nice touch.
Highly recommend. We would definitely stay again in the future.
Most Amazing Well Stocked VRBO Ever
Shirely and Pete are the most gracious hosts. They went out of their way multiple times to ensure our stay was perfect. I have never been in a better stocked VRBO. They had everything. For example, one day I felt like making a smoothie and checked the cupboard and there were 3 blenders!! The house is wonderful and close to everything. We wanted to stay but the commute to my work was going to get crazy with school kicking off. We are now in another VRBO and it doesn't even come to close to comparing to Pete and Shirely's place. Thanks for hosting us!!!
Nice place, close to campus
The home was super nice. It managed to feel welcoming and lived-in, but not cluttered. Plus it was only a short walk (or bike ride, if inclined) to campus!
Well equipped gourmet kitchen. Bicycles with helmets and locks an added bonus. 4 minute bike ride to ASU.
What a great trip to AZ for our sons graduation. The house was centrally locates to everything we wanted to do. It was clean and inviting for me and the family that traveled there from the east coast.
Any additional requests were immediately fulfilled, like extra tables and chairs. We couldn’t have been happier with our time spent at the house and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great place to stay. It’s walking distance from a Starbucks too!
Very clean no issues at all
Blocks from Sun Devil Stadium, Wells Fargo Arena, Tempe Town Lake, downtown Tempe, Grady Gammage Auditorium and less than 1 block from a small community park with a dog park.
