Welcome to "Just One More..." our families home away from home. Our 3 bedroom 1.5 bath house is on a corner street just a few blocks from the water (a 10 min walk) and a short golf cart or bike ride away from the the Main Street in town - where you will find our favorite bakery, pizza shop, candy store and more! The rooms are as follows: (with all linens and towels included)

Master: King Bed
Room 2: Queen Bed
Room 3: Twin bed and Twin over Full Bunk

While you stay you are welcome to use our beach chairs, play our games, set up our corn hole boards, and ride our bikes (2 adult beach cruisers)! You may want to make arrangements to rent a golf cart while you're in town as well- it makes short trips to and from the beach and the main street a breeze! (Ask about an added fee to rent our cart, which seats 4!) Please make our home yours with a fully stocked kitchen for all your cooking needs, an outdoor propane grill, a large dining room table perfect for family game night, 3 Smart TVs, and a strong wifi signal throughout.

Just One More is a cozy home with sleeping space for up to 8.

Overall, we had a lovely stay in Cape Charles. We always love riding around in the golf cart, easy access to the beach and relaxing as a family. Heather's house was great for our family of 4. A couple call outs, disorganization (drawers, cabinets, shared closets, shed, etc) was a bit challenging. Cleanliness was a bit of a miss. There were stains on sheets, couches and heavy dust on vents, as a few examples. As noted, we enjoyed our stay and communication with Heather was smooth.

Second time in Cape Charles

Great location. Clean place and useful amenities. Very communicative property owner who made sure our stay was convenient and our needs were met. Kids loved having new toys to play with.

Cute House

We LOVE Cape Charles and we LOVED staying at Heather’s house! The listing was just as it appeared online. Heather goes above and beyond when it comes to providing things for her guests (i.e. laundry detergent, beach towels, paper towels, etc.). We will most definitely be renting Heather’s house again in the future.

Nice Stay

We have been to Cape Charles numerous times over the past 5 years. The homes in town are older “historic” homes, most of which have been renovated. This property was no exception. The owner was very accommodating to changing the dates of our check-in/check out due to a death in the family. This was much appreciated! The exterior of the property is great! Nice fenced in back yard. The back deck was very inviting as was the front porch. The shed has numerous beach chairs, sand toys, bikes, kayak and games. The golf cart was an added bonus and worked just fine. The interior of the home has obviously been updated. It is very bright, spacious and inviting. However, there were numerous marks on the walls - much more then what we have seen staying at several rental properties over the years. Also, there were several spider webs (with spiders) in the ceilings that I removed as well as an ant problem in the kitchen on the counter. We had to clean the refrigerator shelfs before placing our food in it. We also found a pair of underwear (not ours) in the king bed upon check in. We chalked this up to maybe just getting lost in the sheets when washed? The dining area table was very nice and accommodating. The floors were all very clean. Carpet was noticeably vacuumed. The beds were very comfortable. Shower was nice, pressure was fine and plenty of soap was provided. Other than the small issues above we were happy with the stay.

Beach getaway

Cape Charles Vacation

Awesome house for a visitiing family of 5. The 3 boys loved the room with a bunk bed, the master bedroom is huge and the the third bedroom is plenty big as well. The front porch is welcoming, kitchen is spacious, back deck and fenced in backyard are perfect for evening chill time, it's the best!

Long Weekend in Cape Charles

We had a wonderful stay at Heather's property. The house was clean and very kid friendly. We enjoyed the golf cart and the fenced in backyard. The proximity to the beach is just a short golf cart ride away. Cape Charles is such a gem and we can't wait to visit again!

A dream vacation

We couldn’t have asked for a better stay! The house was very clean and fully stocked with everything we needed and more. This is the perfect quiet location within a short walk or golf cart ride to everything. Easy check in and out procedure. The hosts were wonderful. We will definitely be back!!

Relaxation

House was exactly as described and more. Very clean and comfortable stay. Plenty of amenities provided so that travel can be made easier. Heather was communicative and responsive as needed. If you have kids between 3-10, this house really knocks it out of the park with games and toys. Will stay again!

Great rental

Our family (3 adults, 2 kids teen/tween age) had a great stay. The rental was very well taken care of (not always a given!), and was a great space for the week. Of particular note, we really enjoyed the ample living space - plenty of room for 5 people to sit and sprawl, to sit and eat/play games, etc. - as well as the outdoor space - fantastic level back yard and awesome deck area. Little touches also made this house a huge win - although we brought our own beach towels and toys/gear, it was nice that the house had those things available for use as well (it spared us having to blow up our own inner tubes! ;-)); the ability to add on the golf cart was so nice - we always rent a cart for toodling around town and to the beach, and it was seamless to do so directly from the owner; and it was nice that the house came with an assortment of books and games, etc. (also some toys for little ones - my kids are older, but stuff like that would have been HUGE for us several years ago!). Everyone in my family loved the house - and it isn't always easy to please folks ranging from 12 to 72! :-)

Great Family House

We had a great time at “Just One More”. It was perfect for my husband, myself, and our three kiddos (6,4, and 2). The fenced in yard is great for kids and having the golf cart is a definite perk. We hope to be able to return to his this house in the future.

Great Place!

This place is exactly as pictured! Great place and location! You definitely want to rent a golf cart to get to and from the beach if you have little ones. The golf cart also comes in handy to shop, get ice cream, and go miniature golfing too! Easy check-in and out. Heather is a fabulous host! We will be back again!

Third stay

Great Cape Charles Experience

My family came to this property for our first Cape Charles experience and had a great week! We are a family with a 18 month old and 3.5 year old and everything exceeded our expecations. The house was clean and we were happy with everything offerered. We had a few interactions with messaging the owner simple questions and she was quick to reply and easy to contact which was really nice. We plan on coming back and definitely hope to book this place again! It was less than 5 minute ride via golf cart to everything we wanted to see in Cape Charles. Thanks for a great experience Ms. Williams!

Lovely place! Lovely town!

Christopher and I (Heather) live in Va Beach and we have 5 teens who LOVE Cape Charles. Chris works in real estate and I am a public school teacher. 4 of our 5 kids are in college and 1 is in High School. As our family heads off in new directions, we wanted a spot we could all return to for years to come.

We have been coming regularly to this amazing little town for the last 5 years. When COVID-19 cancelled all our family travel plans for 2020 we decided to use our savings to purchase a home away from home, "Just one More", in our favorite get away spot. We spent months ordering furniture, mattresses and bedding- then painting organizing things and getting it just right for our family AND for yours!! We hope you like it.
