The house is extremely well appointed, with a suite of dining ware and cooking utensils that made the stay much more pleasant. You'll find a range of books for reading and games and toys for the kids as well as beach equipment. We arrived to clean rooms and bedding and what seemed to be new Split A/C systems that took the edge off of the summer heat. All in all , this was a lovely place to stay.

Excellent place-- wonderful host-- everything we needed (and more) was there! This house is so brilliantly clean and unique, we had to invite our friends in to show them the beautifully restored, timeless kitchen! We had a great experience and Elizabeth was a wonderful host! We would definitely recommend this house to anyone visiting Cape Charles!!

The house was lovely! We appreciate all the effort that went into all the beautiful details. Well-stocked pantry, comfortable beds. Plenty of room for our family. Thanks for the beach towels, chairs, and umbrella!! Only wish we could have stayed longer.

Escape to Cape Utopia and you won't be disappointed! It's true, all you need to bring is your bathing suits, I think that's about the only thing that wasn't provided to live comfortably for a few days.. It was a lovely home base to go on day excursions and come back to relax with above and beyond amenities provided.

Summer vacation

This is the third summer staying in Cape Charles and our second stay in Utopia! We LOVE staying there. The accommodations are top notch the house is well appointed and the porch is your favorite place to be!

Great vacation home in Cape Charles

We really loved staying at this home. It was stocked with literally everything you could possibly need. The beds are super comfortable, it was easy to keep the cottage cool, the location is great, and they were pet friendly which was great for our first vacation with our pup. The home is a great mix of vintage and antique charm but modern amenities - the bathrooms are great!
