This comfortable, deluxe, 2-story log cabin rental features include a TV, DVD palyer, Dish Network, Wi-fi, a deck with a private hot tub, gas grill, and central heating/cooling. The cabin is furnished with all bed linens and towels, all major kitchen appliances, cookware and utensils you will need.

Let us know if you are celebrating a birthday, anniversary or honeymoon and we will add a special surprise for you to enjoy!

Choose from the many year-round outdoor attractions nearby, the New River Gorge Visitor's Center, go whitewater rafting on the New and Gauley Rivers with our activity partners Adventures on the Gorge, nearby Winterplace Ski Resort for great snow skiing and tubing. Boating or swimming at Summersville Lake, hiking, golf, horseback riding, ATV's, fishing and just a short drive away from many State and National parks.

Wonderful

This was a wonderful place to stay. Everything was stocked with household necessities like toilet paper, dish soap, plenty of towels and washcloths. I will definitely be back to stay

Wonderful cabin, beautiful, neat, smell good great air condition, everyone was friendly fast at responding only down side is wifi couldn’t call unless someone called me Mawmaw was in the hospital while I was gone so did bug me not being able to stay in touch everything is wonderful except for the wifi couldn’t use it on my phone and definitely not on the tv once we got to the cabin and wanted to lay on the couch and watch tv it was very slow and would just have a circle that went round and round.

Perfect for families!

We chose this cabin because we booked some activities at Ace Adventure Center. Loved the amenities at this place including the hot tub which we used every night. There were some differences in the furniture layout from the online pictures but nothing too major. The couch bed was not comfortable at all so my teen daugher ended up sleeping on the couch instead. So the 6 person cabin is really more of a 4 person. There were also only two chairs at our fireplace instead of the 4 we were supposed to have. But other than those small things, it had everything we needed and we really enjoyed our stay!

Cute Cabin Close to the Park

Cabin was cute and spacious. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook dinner. Location is fairly close to the park with easy access off Hwy 19

Our southern West Virginia cabins feature endless opportunities for outdoor adventure in West Virginia: white water rafting on the New and Gauley rivers, mountain biking, zipline canopy tours, hiking in the many national and state recreation areas, and more. All just minutes away from Country Road Cabins!

Country Road Cabins is in Hico, WV, just north of Fayetteville, and only minutes from national and state recreation areas including, New River Gorge and Bridge, Gauley River National Recreation Area, Summersville Lake, Babcock State Park, Hawks Nest State Park, Carnifex Ferry Battleground State Park, and the new Summit Bechtel Scout Reserve. Since 1996, owners Paul and Jennifer Breuer have built and managed this deluxe group of 1 to 4 bedrooms log cabins. All cabins are available year round and include private hot tubs, cozy fireplaces, and fully-furnished kitchens.
