The house is exactly as described and shown in photos. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was convenient for us and the property was peaceful and quiet. Many deer passed through the yard each morning. The pond is more for frogs than fishing but it was still nice. We are in the area often and would definitely stay again.

This property is a wonderful place to stay! Beautiful home and surroundings and conveniently located between Summersville and Fayetteville. We enjoyed the porches in the mornings and evenings and loved watching the deer stroll through the neighborhood. The home is comfortable and spacious. I highly recommend this property!

The BESTThere are not enough good words to describe this rental. It is wonderful! By far it’s the BEST one in 15 years of renting several times a year. The house is immaculately clean, airy and bright, roomy, nicely equipped and NEW! My husband and I loved the front porch with rocking chairs, the big deck out back, the fire pit and the serene peaceful setting on three acres. Oh so quiet! We were blessed with sunny days and a million stars every night. Most important of all, the host is fantastic. He is thoughtful, caring and helpful. Jason answered every question in minutes and offered suggestions for our vacation. To top it off he helped me with a personal issue, completed within an hour! That’s over and above the call of duty. A really nice home to stay in for our trip to the New River Gorge National Park. We visited numerous state parks in the area and the home was centrally located.Great communication with the owner; our questions were answered within a few hours. Our only complaint is the front door and back door did not have any blinds. Loved getting the digital welcome guide with many recommendations for activities and restaurants in the area. Also appreciated the welcome kit with soaps and laundry detergent.The road to the cabin is not steep but quite narrow and the last portion is gravel, but our car handled it easily.

So Nice!

We had a wonderful time! It is in a beautiful setting. So quiet and peaceful. It is centrally located. We visited Hawks Best, Babcock State Park, Summersville lake, and The New River Gorge. The house itself was so nice. Brand new, immaculate, had everything you could possibly need. We took advantage of the puzzles and games. The owners were super nice and were quick to respond with any questions we may had. I would most definitely recommend!!

Peaceful retreat for exploring New River Gorge

Loved this property. Went with our 5 kids ages 21 to 12. Great communication from the beginning. Easy check in. Beautiful inside and out. Pond was nice, but no fish (lots of frogs, tho!). Teens loved watching Youtube on the fancy fridge, lol. Had everything we needed for a long weekend, and was convenient to most things in the area. Tv was great for 2 movie nights after long days outdoors. Our only complaint (which I only mention because I know it's important to some people) is that the beds are very FIRM. A few had trouble sleeping, but not enough to take any stars off. It just comes down to preference. Overall we had a wonderful weekend!

Perfect Home Base for New River Gorge Adventures!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful VRBO! The house was spotless — truly one of the cleanest vacation rentals we’ve ever stayed in. The property itself was gorgeous, with a lovely pond where we had so much fun spotting frogs. We enjoyed relaxing on the front porch rocking chairs, watching deer wander through the yard, and seeing the cattle graze on the neighboring property each morning and evening.The location was perfect — peaceful and private, yet only a short drive to New River Gorge National Park, whitewater rafting, hiking trails, state parks, and the charming downtown area of Fayetteville. Jason was an outstanding host, very attentive with excellent communication. We appreciated the thoughtful amenities, from snacks to starter toiletries and cleaning products. The guidebook they provided with restaurant and activity recommendations was spot on!This property truly felt like a home away from home. We can’t recommend it enough and would love to return for our next NRG adventure!
