Enjoy your vacation at Two Seas, our family friendly home on Oak Island. The house has incredible waterfront views, while you are relaxing on one of 4 decks! There are ocean views from the decks in the front of the house, and the tidal waterway in the back of the house, we have seen (other guests too) dolphin & otter feeding right off our backyard dock , and of couse we frequently see dolphin in the ocean.
The new Oak Island #2 bridge (opened November 2010) is only about 3 miles from our house. The bridge connects highway 211 to Oak Island, saving many traffic delays in town and opening up many new golf courses and restraunts to short drives from our house. Carolina National Golf Club is now only 15 minutes away, and at least 50 great north Myrtle Beach golf course just a short 'easy' drive over the new bridge and 55 mph four lane access road to Highway 211 and Highway 17.
You can go to the beach, swim, shell, use one of our two kayaks, go for a bike ride, fish from the dock in the back yard, go shrimping and more. The famous Ocean Crest Pier is less than two miles away.
We have wi fi internet servcie for guests use.
For longer stays explore historic Wilmington and Southport, or take the ferry to Bald Head Island. Many restaurants close by as well as golf, mini golf, and Tennis on Oak Island.
The house has three bedrooms upstairs, two with one Queen, and the largest bed room with two queens and room for a third inflatable queen. We have an extra fold out bed in the third bedroom for kids. There is also a double bed / futon in the office and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room.
Our kitchen is well equipped, for your meals. We have a large dining table that seats 6 and extends for 10. Enjoy eating at table on the deck off the kitchen as well. Living room has water views from both sides of the house.,
This house is great for relaxation, and has wi fi internet and 5 TV's to keep up with the outside world.

Oak Island is a very low key - peaceful - relaxing location. We love the quiet serinity of our home's location on the tidal waterways on a North Carolina's barrier island. 200 yards to the beach is the perfect distance, and 2 miles to the local marina is also perfect access to the intercoastal waterway, and a lot of good restraunts and bars. The new 'second' bridge to Oak Island opened in November 2010, which provides easy access to over 50 great golf courses in the north myrtle beach area.
Our home is simple and comfortable, we always have a great view for miles accross the tidal waterways. Our location on a dead end street, two blocks from Ocean drive is ideal. We can hear the ocean waves, but are not distrubed by the often noisy volume of traffic on ocean drive.
We got sunburned in March, played 'sand trap' on the beach, played jack pot game, started a mud fight in the tidal canal. Jessie's shoe came off and she stepped on an oyster, needed four stiches in Southport. The doctor said "oyster wounds are notorous for infections" , but that did not happen. Went to Mexican restaurant after stiches and had a fun meal.
Spent a long weekend with several friends fishing Oak Island. Great house and incredible location. The walk to the beach is short and easy, but the access and views to the IC waterway are incredible. Access is great, plenty of parking (two covered spots and plenty more in the driveway and side street), huge outdoor shower, 3 kayaks, and great "dock" right to the water. A ton of rooms in the house- they are all fairly small, but with this location, you better not be spending much time in the house. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks, George!
I took my parents for a stay at the Two Seas. We had a wonderful time. It is located in a nice spot on the island. The house was clean and was well stocked. There wasn't soap for the showers, so we made a stop at the grocery store. But, apart from this, we had a wonderful time. My mother and father kept saying how nice the house was and what a wonderful stay they had. We will certainly consider another visit!
The house was very comfortable & had everything you needed except the toilet paper was just about upon arrival. The owner sent detailed information about the house and how to use everything. Very good restaurants in the area and close enough to the supermarket. The views from the back deck overlooking the inlet were amazing. Kayaking was really nice as was watching people shrimp & fish. Couldn't ask for a more perfect setting.
We really enjoyed our week at Two Seas. The view out over the tidal water was amazing - From the same location you could see the sunrise and a sunset over the water which was awesome. The beach was great too - very short easy walk and all of the owner's amenities were so helpful. This included the beach cart, chairs, boogie boards, etc... the kajaks and shrimp nets were great as well. We took our dog on the beach and in the tidal river where he had a great time playing in the water. We can''t wait to book our next years vacation!
The Two Seas beach house was perfect!!!! It's location facilitated our relaxation and quiet. The canal behind the house provided tons of entertainment, and we didn't even have to go in it. LOVED IT!!!! George provided us with all the info we needed to help us with our stay at the house and moving around the island. The house is extremely well furnished, clean, and well cared for, inside and out. There was NOTHING more that we needed. We will be back.
We just completed a terrific week long vacation at Two Seas. Our two families, each with two children, were very comfortable there. We found everything (and more) that was promised in the info provided by the owner. The beds were very comfortable and the furniture was cozy. The kids did lots of fishing off the dock, learned to cast a shrimp net, and took a couple of kayaking jaunts. We thoroughly enjoyed the view and the quiet of the marsh, and it was so easy to pack up a wagon (provided) for a day on the beach. All in all, it was a great stay and we would recommend it highly!
