Why Andrea or Stephen Velasco chose Estes Park
We fell in love with this house the moment we saw it. We have always loved Estes Park, and wanted our own little piece of it to enjoy. We love being able to easily hike into the park. The wildlife in the immediate area is abundant. The balcony off the bedroom is fantastic for sitting outside with a cup of coffee listening to the roar of the water nearby. We have always loved the unique look of an A-Frame. It's like owning a Harley or an Airstream. Why have a home like everyone else!

Great home base for a trip to RMNP
The house was clean and the upstairs beds were super comfortable. We enjoyed the location being so close to the park. We could easily drop back in for lunch and get right back to our adventures. I'd stay here again.
Clean, comfortable, and convenient! Close to RMNP for hiking and sightseeing and Estes for shopping and eating! Wonderful place! WiFi worked fine for me.
Nice get away but close to town
Perfect Location for Dayhikers
Very pleased with this property as a place to stay when spending the days hiking in the national park. Easy check-in process, very economical, and relatively well furnished and stocked. Owners were easy to communicate with through the VRBO app. Several points for renters to understand: bedrooms are upstairs, bathroom downstairs. The narrow spiral staircase was very tight for me at 6'4" (really had to duck). The shower is also small. It is very tricky to find this place at night your first time there if you really don't know where it is located because streets and driveways look the same and your car headlights will not hit the signature A-frame. Would easily stay here again!
Lovely getaway in the mountains
Staying in this darling cabin was perfect for enjoying Rocky Mountain National Park and Estes Park! I loved waking up and drinking my coffee, all while watching the sunrise from my bedroom balcony. The hosts have thought of everything, including games, movies, books, a wood burning stove, kitchen dishes and utensils, etc. After long days of hiking and exploring, we loved returning to the cabin after dinner to enjoy a movie or game. This place is tastefully decorated in a cozy cabin way, the beds are very comfortable, and from the moment you step in, the cabin smells amazing — clean and woodsy. I can’t wait to go back!
Great location. Good value.
The a-frame is clean and all appliances were in good working condition. Each of the beds were comfortable and there was plenty of hot water for showers. The owners provided useful information about Estes Park and RMNP. It did seem odd that hand soap, dish soap, and laundry detergent were not provided. Perhaps I'm being picky. Regardless, you can't beat the location to RMNP and the stay was everything we hoped and expected. Would definitely come back for a second stay.
