Enjoy the beautiful lanai and grounds of the Palms at Wailea with this elegant vaulted ceiling two bedroom two bath condominium in north Wailea. The gardens are spectacular and include a beautiful pool and lounging area. The master bedroom provides a romantic exposed bath area and large cal-king bed and split AC. The 2nd bedroom offers both a twin bed and a full bed and split AC. The sleeper sofa in the living room is oversized and offers plenty of space for those groups that need it, the living room features a television and split AC.

The kitchen has updated cabinets and granite counters and provides easy access to the large lanai. The lanai has a dining area, and a separate lounger area plus plenty of space to store your ocean equipment. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need to prepare meals for inside, outside, or to take to the beach. Three temporary BBQ areas are available for your use - one at the top of the property (left of the entrance), one at the bottom (next to building 20) and one on the South lawn (next to South Kihei Road).

Tastefully decorated with elegant 'Island style' furniture and beautiful local art work.

World famous Keawakapu Beach and it's white sands is only a few minutes walk away. A number of championship golf courses are only a few minutes away. This wonderful home is ready for you to enjoy your vacation.

The unit is well stocked with kitchen ware and appliances, we also provide:
- beach chairs, beach towels, beach umbrella, sorry no snorkeling gear,
- a toiletries starter kit sufficient for short stay,
- a starter kit of laundry soap, dish soap, dishwasher soap, and kitchen cleaning supplies,
- drip coffeemaker and some coffee to get the trip started
- linens, towels, etc.

We loved this property and unit. Four adults and very roomy and comfortable. If you don’t mind the noise of the traffic this is ideally situated. If you want quiet space it might not be for you.

Unit was clean and spacious. Beds were comfortable. We love The Palms complex and have stayed here many times. One thing to note, because this unit sits at the edge of the complex near the road there is quite a bit of loud road noise during the day, particularly commute times. Not a deal breaker for me but anyone looking for utter peace and quite may want a center of complex unit instead. I would rent this unit again.

First I want to say the property management was so kind, helpful and quick in getting some things squared away, I really appreciated them! Overall the unit was mostly clean, and was as pictured. I booked this one because I needed the 2 beds in one room, so that was great! I’ve stayed in this complex quite a lot, it’s my favorite one in the area! But for us, this unit fell a bit short. It was more dated, not quite as well stocked, or decorated as the other ones I’ve stayed in. Having access to some more linen, and paper products would have helpful. Because there’s no shower door or curtain in the master, the water sprays out all over the bathroom floor, so it there’s a lot of clean up to do after each shower. They did have some extras like an umbrella and chairs so that was definitely a plus, adding a little cooler to the collection would be super helpful too! I ended up renting one from snorkel bobs. This unit is also on the busy road so it can be a little more noisy than other units. Thanks again to the property management for helping our stay be a little better!

We couldn't check in early, because the room had to be inspected after cleaning. I don't know what they inspected, because the room was dirty. Lots of sand on the floors, dust bunnies and cobwebs everywhere, dirt/dust on all surfaces (which I cleaned as soon as we got in). Huge bomber size flying roach in the living area on the first day, and other little roaches on subsequent days. We washed dishes, wiped counters, put away food after every meal or snack. No towels or clothes left lying around. This place was just dirty.The twin bed and sofa bed were terrible.We could have used more blankets and extra bath towels.Toilet paper ran out.No Kleenex provided.One of my biggest complaints is about the master bathroom. It is so tiny. No shower curtain means the floor gets wet no matter how you position the shower head. And there's nowhere to put your soap & shampoo. A cheap shower rack would fix this. Also, why is there that big window right next to the toilet & shower? If you open the shade or window, you're on display to anyone who comes to the front door. I guess no one opens it, because the shade was melted & stuck to the wall.On the plus side, it is very spacious.The A/C was good.Pool was good.Lots of parking for multiple cars.Daughter loved the lanai.Couches were clean and comfortable for sitting (though we had to brush off the sand).Pantry was minimally stocked. Other places were much better.This was a comfortable place to be in a tropical storm.

Spacious Accommodations- Beautiful Grounds

The condo was very open and comfortable, but the grounds and pool area were exceptional. Uncrowded, yet close to shopping and gorgeous beaches! We snorkeled every morning and the small local beaches and swam with lots of turtles & even saw a mink seal. Great accommodations for adults.

If you desire a location that is peaceful, opens up to a sloped grass area and a 15 min walk to the beach, this is a great place to stay.

Fantastic Property

This condo was an incredible place to stay! It was spotless, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a comfortable vacation. We especially appreciated all the beach gear provided—chairs, umbrella, cooler, noodles, and more—which made our beach days effortless. The kids absolutely loved the pool, and the beautifully maintained grounds added to the overall experience. While there was some road noise on the patio, it was a minor issue since the road wasn’t very busy and didn’t detract from our enjoyment. Highly recommend!

On a busy road

The condo is directly on the busiest street in the area and the road noise made the outside patio virtually unusable and provided zero privacy. You could hear cars and motorcycles all day and night inside as well. The house itself was fine other than the funky see thru master bath. Property manager was super nice, helpful and attentive which we appreciated very much.

The unit is located on the corner of the resort and as a result is closer to the beach and sidewalks. There can be some road noise at times. The bathroom in the master is exactly as pictured.

March 2025 Stay

We’ve stayed at this property before but this was our first stay in this unit. We stayed for about 2 weeks for spring break. The property was very clean, with more than enough space for the four of us and well equipped. There are some age-related issues (the screen door does not close properly, the beach chairs are a bit mouldy and the zippers are corroded, and the living room fan and 2nd bdrm fan only have one speed, but the AC worked), but nothing that impacted our stay. My only complaint are the supplies provided…we received 2 small bars of hotel soap, one roll of paper towel, and token amounts of toilet paper, dishwasher pods and garbage bags. Considering the cost of the stay, it would have been appreciated if these things were provided for the duration of the stay (cost of maybe 20) instead of having to purchase the same items for much more cost.

Disappointed with our Stay

Unfortunately we were dissatisfied with our stay here. No working AC, it was extremely hot at night and uncomfortable sleeping. It was right on a busy road as well so opening the windows up was not as appealing. The TV also did not work and the remotes did not have batteries in them. We provided the feedback during our stay but the communication. With the management properly was not great.

Not the best unit at Palms

We had limited choices with this trip due to last minute changes to our schedule and some of the concerns in previous reviews, we were certainly aware of, so some of them will be repeats. We have stayed at the Palms a number of times over the past 11 years in our 9 trips to Maui. This was our most disappointing accommodations to date. I will start with the positives. The unit was clean when we arrived and the layout, state of the Palms complex and space are excellent, as is true of all of the Palms units we have stayed in. The location of the complex is great. It is close to numerous great beaches, and in a quiet area. There is a beach you could walk to, but generally you would drive to the beach. The unit is on the road and facing the road. The traffic noise makes the lanai much less enjoyable than other units and before staying here I never noticed how many people in Maui feel the need to have excessively loud motorcycles that they race down the hill. Otherwise the lanai is spacious, similar to other units. The Barbecue needs to be replaced. The burners are all worn out and flames shoot everywhere. It is not easy to light as a result. The appliances are dated and the cooktop, combined with the extremely warped frying pans make the cooking experience, “interesting”. We took to propping up the handles of the frying pans with a coffee cup or a box to keep the pan in at least some contact with the heat of the cooking surface. The washer is so loud that you really can’t tolerate being in the unit when it is running. The sink in the kitchen requires “just the right jiggle” to get it to stop pouring water and “the perfect jiggle” to prevent it from dripping water at all hours. The main bathroom sink handle was loose and came off in my hand. The shower curtain rod is missing a pad on one side and falls off unexpectedly. The beach gear really just included 4 chairs and a small cooler and cooler bag. There were no beach towels and we had to run out and buy those on our first day. There are no boogie boards, which I understand are not a requirement, but this is the first of the units we have rented that have not had these.

Aloha, thank you for the notes on the cookware. We have had a plumber come to the unit to address the water and maintenance for the handle and rod. The beach amenities we provide are beach chairs, an umbrella, and beach towels per the occupancy. We're sorry you couldn't locate the towels- they are bright, colorful, and microfiber so may not have been as noticeable as beach towels in the traditional sense. We value your feedback, mahalo
