Welcome to our Paradise Home! Located in building 3 on the 4th floor, away from the noise of So. Kihei Rd.. We hope to make you feel like an invited guest. Wake up to swaying palm trees, birds singing. Make your own coffee and breakfast or walk to a local restaurant. Spend time at one of the three Maui Vista pools or walk to the beach just across the street. Local market, restaurants and shops are within walking distance. We provide all the amenities and comforts of home, a variety of sleeping arrangements and plenty of place to stow away your traveling gear. No need to over pack. We provide full size washer and dryer.
We are centrally located in South Maui and you can easily drive to all of Maui’s beautiful destinations. Our unique & spacious tropical condo is the ONLY Maui Vista 2 bedroom condo that has a one-of-a-kind ENLARGED and partially enclosed 'PRIVATE' 2nd bedroom loft and an ENLARGED upstairs Spa bathroom. Our condo is the BIGGEST 2 bedroom/ 2 full bath condo available at the Maui Vista Resort. Vaulted ceilings are in main living area and higher ceilings throughout. The new air conditioners keep the condo pleasant on those warmer tropical days!
Since our condo does not directly face the hot afternoon sun, it stays cooler than most full Oceanview condos! From our living room lanai we have 2 different horizon views of the ocean, spectacular sunsets, view of the West Maui Mountains, the island of Lanai and Ma’alea Bay off in the distance. Beautiful tropical gardens and trees are right below us. The two Maui volcanos can be seen from our condo building, as well!
Leave the car and stroll to popular destinations in Kihei Town- Maui’s best beaches, shopping, dining, groceries, Oceanfront Yoga classes, public transportation and more. Located minutes away from several South Maui golf courses.
Our Maui Vista condo is located on 10 acres, surrounded by the flowering plumeria trees, whispering palm fronds (directly outside of our lanai window), flowering green gardens & lawns of the Maui Vista Resort and 6 tennis courts, and Pickle Ball court. Maui Vista Resort is NON-SMOKING. ALL condos and lanais are non-smoking. There are designated 'smoking only' areas located throughout the resort.
The condo has been professionally decorated in 'Tropical Island' decor (updated and changed regularly).

Unlike many rental units, we live in our condo with family or friends for extended periods of time each year, resulting in personal touches, regular upkeep and thoughtful upgrades. We maintain our condo in the best condition possible, including regular dry cleaning of upholstery, quilts, pillows and drapes! We have a variety of designer quilts that we change regularly.
Maui Vista Resort amenities include 3 gated-POOLS, 6 private CHAMPIONSHIP TENNIS COURTS (code available in the front office), 3 BBQ and picnic areas, elevators, lending library and paved walking paths through tropical gardens to South Kihei Road and the beach. Located across the street from Charley Young Beach, voted to be one of the top 10 Beaches in the USA. Enjoy swimming, sunbathing, snorkeling and surfing. All Maui's beaches are public! GOLFING on numerous local Championship golf courses in Kihei are located minutes away by car. Wailea has a beautiful upscale shopping center with weekly entertainment, restaurants and beautiful resorts.

Loved the location. So close to everything. Setting is quite picturesque. Appreciated the instructions on using things in condo. Communication with hosts was marvelous. Fantastic space for enjoying Maui

My reason for coming to the islands was a little bittersweet... My Mom died during COVID and this was the first opportunity to come to Hawaii where she was raised and distribute her ashes off of Waikiki. Maui was the second part of the trip and my husband and two of our best friends wanted a space to start the healing process. This place was perfect. It allowed us to have meals while looking at beautiful sunsets. We loved how close it was to shopping, restaurants, and most of all the beaches. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

Great Family Vacation Location

We spent 9 nights in this condo the end of March. Everything was as described and it worked very well for our group of 6....grandparents, parents, and 19 month old. The condo was well equipped and had all that we needed, including a port-a-crib and high chair to attach to a dining chair. We also appreciated having beach equipment...4 chairs, an umbrella, and towels. The location was great and was easy walking distance to Charley Young Beach. Laurie was a wonderful host and very easy to communicate with! We appreciated her prompt replies to all of our questions.

Great location! We have stayed at Maui Vista for over 20 years and this is the first 2 bedroom unit. Everything was perfect, from comfy Lanai furniture to King Size beds. All appliances are very modern (not always the case in units constructed in the 80s). The extra large (expanded) Upper bedroom makes a huge difference. We had 4 adults with all the luggage necessary for golf equipment so there was lots of room to store (this is rare!). As always, Maui Vista is so perfectly located and well kept up as to be one of the best values in Kihei.

Don’t want to leave

Of course one never wants to leave Hawaii, this condo was so cute we decorated and had everything we needed. I, the grandma, slept on the daybed upstairs and my daughter and toddler slept in the big bed on the other side of my curtain. Dad and nine-year-old slept in the bedroom downstairs. I became very attached to the condo and wish I owned it! Highly recommend.

Maui family vacation for family of 6

Kihei is an excellent location for exploring Maui. We found that we spent much less time driving than our last time on Maui when we stayed at Kapalua Bay. We appreciated short walks to 4 excellent local beaches, on site tennis courts and nearby food truck courts. More excellent beaches are also within 30” drive. This is a good location for snorkelers, tennis enthusiasts, golfers, runners and swimmers. I worked with the owner for late checkout but was not able to get the code to work for the extra day. This was not a major problem. We also ate the majority of our meals at this condo.

Thanksgiving in Maui

This is a great condo in a perfect location--right next to one of the best beaches on Maui, and walking distance to many great restaurants. We had our 2 grandsons staying with for us for a couple of nights and they loved the upstairs bedroom. The king-sized bed in the downstairs bedroom is very comfortable; the condo has great recreational equipment to use and the kitchen has pretty much anything you might need. It is in a very quiet and peaceful location. The lanai faces the perfect direction because it offers some glimpses of the ocean but never gets direct sunset at anytime during the day. We never used the air-conditioning because the fans and the breezes coming thru the condo provided all the cooling we needed for comfort day and night. We would highly recommend this condo to anyone looking for a great condo in what we think is one of the best locations on Maui--we have been to Maui many times over the years and we always stay at MauI Vista.

Great space for a family, centrally located and pretty close to the ocean.

Overall it was fine. A few problems with cleanliness - pillows need replacing (and pillow protectors) as they are marked for replacing but they are still being used. Upstairs king bed needs a memory foam or something as it’s very springy (probably fine for children). On removing the pillows from the upstairs pillows they were marked “for pillow shams only not for sleeping on” - they found this after sleeping on them for two weeks. The downstairs shower had mold all over the shower liner, the rubber bath mat and the plug. I bought another liner then found one under the sink later. Cleaners should have seen this. Otherwise it is a very nice property.

Everything as promised

We had a wonderful time! The condo was cute, very well organized, and exactly what we were looking for! We are a family of 5. Our kids enjoyed the upstairs and were comfortable with the beds. We were able to use the beach chairs provided which came in handy. Laurie, the owner communicated with us many times and was extremely attentive. To make it easier for us, we only used the upstairs shower which was very roomy and had good water pressure. I feel like this condo is in a great central location. We explored majority of the island and visited multiple beaches. Laurie had given us some recommendations for beaches, restaurants, etc and we’re were happy with all of them. My only minor complaint is that the downstairs bedroom has an air conditioner which is attached to a timer of 2-3 hours. We only used the air at night and it was frustrating to wake up hot because it had turned off. The air in the living room and upstairs worked until you turned them off. I also didn’t find the downstairs bed very comfortable (I have a bad back and am picky for that reason) Overall, we all had a wonderful time and didn’t want to leave!!

Good value for location and pricing

This was our 7th stay at various Maui Vista (MV) units. We continue to choose units at Maui Vista for their combination of reasonable pricing with great access to the balance of what Kihei and the surrounding activities that south Maui - from Ma’alaea to Makena - offer. For those who have not stayed in Kihei before, you should be forewarned about the busyness (and noise) of Kihei Rd. in front of the MV development (primarily impacts building #1). But being on Kihei Rd. also means you have easy walking access to multiple shops and restaurants, something that is not true in many other locations. Choosing this unit in building three provides maximum quiet, but a little longer walk to Charlie Young beach. Most people consider a patio facing the parking lot a second choice from an ocean facing unit - we disagree because we were able to enjoy a cool drink on afternoons on a shaded patio rather than having the glare and heat of the late day sun. In the unit itself, the upstairs is more recently updated and is cute in every way. The downstairs is a bit older, but well maintained and stocked. The brand new full size washer and dryer were appreciated. The kitchen is well stocked with dinnerware, pots and pans and everything we needed. Our only complaint was that all knives were terribly dull and the provided sharpener was useless against them. Clear instructions for using the TV and internet were appreciated, although the absence of a stereo was a surprise. A larger coffee table in front of the couch would have been appreciated for reading, meals and TV watching. Also, we would have appreciated a couple stools for when we invited guests to join us on the patio (all the patios are small - the kitchen chairs are too big and the one stool in the unit was so rickety that we didn’t dare use it). Beach chairs, umbrella and a cooler are provided, a boogie board was absent and would have been appreciated. All in all we found this unit to be clean, well stocked and well maintained. We enjoyed our stay and got what we expected for the pricing. And in our mind, Maui Vista continues to be a winner in terms of location and pricing.

Wonderful Condo

When we visit Maui we always stay in the Maui Vista. We like the location as Charley Young beach across the street is one our favourite places to hang out and with a 15min walk in either direction you have stores and restaurants. The complex is well kept with 3 BBQ areas, 3 small pools and lots of tennis courts. For our family it is a perfect fit and we have rented abut 10 different condos here over the years. This property is one of the nicest we have stayed at as far as the interior layout and furnishing. The interior is decorated in fun fashion with lots of cool Hawaiian touches (I love the Hula lamp). It also had unique renovation to make the loft larger and enclosed it with shutters. Add in King Size beds, a day and fold out bed and you have lots of sleeping room. We just had 4 of us there, but it work easily for more people. You can tell the owners love their unit. The upstairs shower is great for getting clean from the beach as it is a multi head unit and you can sit down in it. EVERYthing you need is in the condo including beach gear (we left an boogie board and rod to add to the gear), also the kitchen has everything including unexpected things like a blender, waffle maker, spices etc. Everything is labelled so you know where to find it or where to put it back. Like I say the condo is up there with the best units in the vista - if not the best unit. As it is in the third building it is very quit at night, but still a short stroll down to the beach. As for the downsides, the list is short and minimal. As another reviewer pointed out the beach chairs are comically uncomfortable. We found them to be basically unusable. We rented some Tommy Bahama chairs for our stay. If we are were staying a bit longer we would have bought TB chairs and left them there as they are $29 at costco. Another potential downside is the bedrooms have TV's but I think you can only get netflix on them. This didn't effect us at all, but if you like to watch the news in bed you would be out of luck. The last downside is the most significant one for us. The view from the lanai is not as nice as many of the other 4 floor condo's in the Vista. You can see bits of Ocean but for the most part you will see buildings, parking lot and trees. If you compare this to the view to other units that overlook the pool you can see allot of Ocean and even watch whales. Still the lanai was quit and you could see the sunset. The owners are great people, and I recommend this unit.

Lovely condo, great location

Everything went smoothly with our rental experience. We were a group of 4 adults and two children. Used tennis courts and pools. Condo is centrally located in Kihei so access to water activities, beach, bike rentals, tours was perfect. Received condo in excellent condition. Would rent this property again!

Great location, thoughtfully stocked condo

We had a great time here - condo was clean and thoughtfully stocked (beach chairs, kitchenware, etc). Communication with our hosts was easy, and the location had a lots of spots within walking distance.

Comfortable Place, Well Supplied

Two 70 yr old couples stayed here. The kitchen is well supplied and the beds are comfortable. It is a longer walk to the beach than I expected, on a slope. But the closest beach is very nice.

Alan is an avid golfer, ocean swimmer, bicyclist, scuba diver, and outdoors man; Maui is perfect for him. Laurie enjoys reading under the palms, walking on the beach, snorkeling, open water aerobics, yoga and recently took up a life long passion to paint outdoors with other artists. Why they chose this property

Kihei is still an Hawaiian beach town. We wanted it ALL- a safe neighborhood, walk to Maui's best beaches, diving and snorkeling, palm trees and nightly ocean sunsets. Maui Vista Resort is centrally located within walking distance to shops, dining, surf lessons, groceries, beach rentals, public transportation and more. You can choose to play golf on numerous local championship courses. Kihei is located minutes from Wailea (shopping and resorts). We wanted to own a condo that we could allow the teens to walk (on their own) to various locations, safe for little ones to play on the grounds, but quiet enough for total relaxation. Our condo is truly a retreat home away from home!

What makes this property unique

Our Maui Vista condo is a one of a kind. We have the expanded loft bedroom and enlarged loft bathroom. We are located in QUIET building 3 on the top 4th floor away from the main street. Two split system air conditioners and one portable a/c, two king sized beds and more! Every morning you can look out at the ocean and watch the tropical birds in the palm trees (one almost within an arms reach!) or look out over beautiful Plumaria trees and tropical gardens. And, most of the year there is an unbelievable sunset visible from our lanai. Three sets of Championship Tennis Courts (some with Pickle Ball) and a barbecue/picnic area are just downstairs. One of the three Maui Vista's gated pools is located minutes from the door! Our gardens have beautiful tropical flowers and a variety of trees, grassy areas and paved walking trails to the main road and beach. While staying in the condo you will have all the conveniences of home.
