Fantastic house with an incredible view. The horizon pool is perfect for starting and ending your days. Enough space for three couples. Easy communication with hosts. Great location for those wanting to explore Quepos to Dominical to Uvita to Ojochal. We loved it.

Perfect getaway

This villa was perfectly tucked away in the mountain, close enough to nearby towns to venture on daytime. Great place to work remotely from, views were refreshing.

Anniversary trip

The property was absolutely amazing! The pictures in the listing are exactly how the house looks. We had amazing views, lots of wildlife and even clouds inside the house at one point or whatever. I would highly recommend this property.

Beautiful view!

A wonderful home! Landon and his family were great to work with. The pool was beautiful and there were stunning views from every room, even the master shower! Such a great place to stay and enjoy Dominical!

Magical!

Villa la Luna is a true paradise! The view is breathtaking; the house is clean, spacious and well equipped; and the location is central to activities, restaurants, and beaches in the area. We loved our time in Costa Rica and would absolutely stay at Villa la Luna again!

Great stay at an AMAZING property!

I booked this property for clients, a multigenerational family of five. They absolutely loved everything about the Villa and the location. The owner was incredible to work with and the staff for meals, cleaning and spa treatments were outstanding. There are only positives to say about this experience.

Landon made check in easy, beautiful views that we enjoyed every morning and evening. We loved seeing the birds and beautiful landscaping. You definitely need awd or 4x4 for the road coming up to the house. Juli gave us fantastic support by arranging all our activities and assisting us during our stay with dinner reservations, etc.

Gorgeous property!

Wonderful property with awesome view. Supplied with everything you could possibly need. The Concierge was very attentive to anything we required and also any excursions and restaurant bookings. Would definitely rent this property again!!

10 days in paradise

This property was simply amazing! Landon was responsive and punctual at check in and out. We stayed here to celebrate our 25 wedding anniversary and the home and Costa Rica did not disappoint. We’d come back here in a minute!!!

The pool and view is spectacular. The house is a beautiful modern home. The manager and concierge were so helpful and nice and the house is a short drive to everything including good food, grocery stores, and beaches. You definitely want at least an all wheel drive truck with good ground clearance for the road to the house. Although, a 4-wheel drive truck with good ground clearance would be best if you're not used to driving steep gravel roads.

Amazing property

We had the family up to enjoy Thanksgiving and it was a great time. Landon helped us out and was very helpful. We got a couple of baskets from Landon, from Mama Toucans, and they were great to have to start the trip. The birds were plentiful and if you get up early enough you can hear the Howler Monkeys calling in the trees.

This was one of the best VRBO’s we’ve EVER stayed in. House itself was just as pictured, beautiful and clean. Each room has their own split unit AC and bathroom. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a get away from a hectic city lifestyle. To start the host was fantastic - helped us plan excursions and accommodate additional activities at the home. A true white glove service. The views from this home are exceptional. Wild life can be seen from the pool area from hummingbirds to tucans. In the mornings you can hear the howler monkeys nearby. San Jose airport is about 3:40 minutes but completely worth the drive. Everything else is about 15-20 minutes from the house but you have a few convenience stores down the street/mountain. Must rent a car to come here, AWD will work fine. There are some steep inclines to get to the house but nothing crazy. My entire family loved this home. We would definitely come back.

Dream vacation home!

We loved staying at Villa La Luna. An incredible house with a spectacular view! It has everything you might need for an enjoyable stay and the area is so special. We visited the beach and whale’s tail at low tide, which was very cool. We enjoyed the wonderful birding from the back yard and the kids loved the pool. Having Sibu nearby is a plus as well! Property manager was super helpful and nice. Made everything very easy. We’d love to come back! Thank you so much for a terrific stay!

Relaxing getaway

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was exactly as described. We had some minor issues, but everything was immediately addressed by the house manager. We were greeted upon arrival and communication was great. Be prepared for a rough ride up the mountain to the house definitely should have four-wheel-drive. One thing to note there is no air conditioning in the main part of the house only in the bedrooms.

Amazing property

Villa La Luna is an exceptional property with an amazing view. The home was clean and comfortable. The pool was incredible. We saw, and heard, so many different birds every day, including toucans. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. The road to the home is intimidating at first, but no problem once you get used to it. The initial directions to the home reference a bar that has moved which caused a slight hiccup, but the property manager was waiting to greet us and very responsive. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Perfect privacy in the (not rainy) early rainy season

We enjoyed this property! Gorgeous house and view. Everything in it was perfect. Would be great for 3 couples, or a family with kids who will share beds. Hosts had lots of great recommendations. You definitely need a tip top SUV or 4 wheel drive to get to the house. Really glad we stayed here and not in very busy Manuel Antonio. Loved restaurant Scalia nearby, LaParcela (on the beach), and Fuego Brewing. Mama Toucan’s more pricey that Whole Foods - hit a market in one of the larger towns!

Senior/Graduation Trip

Owner met us there at check in to explain how everything worked. Very responsive to any questions and concerns. Gorgeous house, scenery, wildlife. We were in the jungle...so I get it that there were bugs (but the tiny ants on the kitchen counter drive me nuts all week!). Definitely need a 4WD to get to the house. Food everywhere we went was phenomenal. Ziplining and horse back riding to the waterfall was a hit for the "kids".

Awesome Stay!

This property was so amazing!! View from pool overlooking ocean could not be more relaxing. Home was very clean and comfortable and secure. The property manager, Landon was always in touch and made sure we had everything we needed. Juli the Concierge was extremely helpful in booking tours and was so patient and knowledgeable in answering all of our questions about the area. Both were readily available to answer any questions or concerns by WhatsApp, which was nice. The power happen to go out hours before we arrived and Landon was onsite when we arrived making sure power company got us back on. We couldn't' be happier with our stay. We look forward to staying here again!

Incredible Home and Outstanding views

I can’t say enough about the property managers, Landon and Juli. They were amazing hosts from beginning to end. The communication was definitely key to this vacation as they helped with planning the fun and an unforeseen incident. I can’t thank them enough. For the house, absolutely stunning. The views were extraordinary. You almost didn’t want to leave the house at all. The house was equipped with everything we needed for our stay and the beds were comfortable. We will be back.
