Make lifelong memories with your family and friends at Wahoo Wahoo, located in Pointe West Resort, Galveston! Enjoy beautiful sunsets over the bay from the large private balcony! This fantastic 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom condo on the bayside has granite counter tops, comfortable coastal decor, washer/dryer, patio furniture and much more! It has a well-stocked kitchen including Keurig coffee maker, toaster, blender, cookware, extra dishes and utensils. The master suite, has private balcony access, and a spacious bathroom with his and her sinks and an over-sized walk-in shower. This condo also features covered parking with an elevator.

Pointe West Resort and Beach Club, located on over 1000 acres with 3 miles of private beachfront, features an infinity edge pool, hot tub, large kiddie pool, BBQ pit, fitness center, restaurant & bar, gift shop, access to the beach and more! The bayside features a second pool with lazy river, hot tub, BBQ pit, fishing, crabbing, biking and hiking trails, kayak ponds and bird estuary. The perfect place to spend your next vacation in Galveston!

One time $25.00 resort fee per person for adults and children over the age of four years old, per stay payable to Pointe West Resort.

Great location and host!

Perfect Pointe West Getaway

We loved our stay at Wahoo Wahoo! Lazy river was so easy to get to, everything was comfortable, check-in was easy, and Amanda was extremely helpful and responsive :) The kids are already asking to go back!

Great Family Vacation

This was our second time in this condo and our third time staying at the Pointe West. We love the place and we love the pools and beach. We had a great time. Home was clean and location to the sunset pool was perfect.

What a great experience!

What a beautiful place to stay on Galveston Island would highly recommend!! It is a bit of a drive outside of the city of Galveston but well worth the drive very quiet and the best beaches are on the south end of the island! Already looking forward to staying again!!

Woohoo Wahoo!!

My husband, daughter, friend and myself wanted a short trip to end our spring break and are we glad we picked Wahoo Wahoo for it! Great location with a beautiful view of the bay and the Sunset pool and close to the beach club for access to the other pool and the beach. The condo was perfect and had everything we needed! We would definitely book here again!!

Fun Family Beach Trip

We had a wonderful time staying again at pointe west. This time we rented a golf cart and it was super fun cruising around the resort and to the beach and beach club. We will be back!

Great, quiet beach condo

Nice condo in a very well maintained property away from the hustle and bustle of Galveston proper. Great walkable beach access, beautiful bay sunsets. Grandkids loved the lazy river/pool. Easy drive into Galveston for activities and restaurants but spent most mealtimes enjoying the balcony and its bay views.

Relaxing on Labor Day

We enjoyed the beautiful view of the Bay overlooking the lazy river pool, which also was enjoyed immensely. The weather cut our beach day short, but we were thankful for the relaxing cozy stay in comfortable condo Wahoo Wahoo.

Wonderful!

Our family had such a great time here! The condo was perfect for our young family. We loved being close to the pool and watching the sun set at night. The condo was equipped with all the essentials and very comfortable. We hope to come again soon!

Wonderful family vacation

The condo is beautiful and the perfect setup for a family. Close to the pool and perfect to watch sunsets over the bay. Private beach access is a nice perk too. Quite a distance from the activities in downtown Galveston, but we didn't mind being on the quiet side of the island. We really enjoyed our trip to Galveston and would love to return in the future. Did choose to leave one day early to avoid hurricane Beryl, but you can't control the weather.

Best 70th Ever !

Pleasantly surprised with everything. No issues, no complaints, parking, elevator, condo and people were amazing. Almost everywhere you go, there is always something that isn't quite what we wanted. Not here, we were all super pleased with our accommodations. We are still on a high note from our weekend there. Thank you so much for everything.

The perfect spot for a beach get a way!

We really enjoyed our stay at Amanda’s condo! It’s location is perfect (right across from the lazy river pool) and the Pointe West property is a perfect place to spend a Galveston beach vacation. Only negative is the lack of shade at the lazy river pool. We stayed at Pointe West several years ago and loved all the mature trees and shade the lined the pool. Not sure what happened to them but it makes escaping the sun rather hard.

Covered parking spots are tight and unable to back in caused issues. Almost knocked off side mirrors multiple times did knock it off once.

Fun weekend!

Nice clean condo, but the beds are worn out. Mattresses need to be replaced. But other than that very nice.

Lovely condo and views.

This is a great place for families or 2 couples if one couple doesn't object to comfortable bunk beads. Loved the location and views plus covered parking. Lovely deck with lots of space, outside dining and chairs. Very tasteful, quality furnishings. Kitchen was reasonably well stocked with dishes and plenty of cook's utensils. Only a few things needed attention, and these were minor. Given the "beach environment," there was a musty odor that we quickly got rid of, some light bulbs were burned out, a wall decoration had been broken by a previous guest, a few dead bugs and one cleaning need greeted us. But all considered, this is a great place to stay. I would recommend it.

Thanks for the review. The condo was empty for a few weeks and hadn’t been checked on due to the holidays and wasn’t up to my typical standards. My mistake and I should have made sure it was freshened up before your stay. Everything has been attended to and back to tip top shape!

Great Relaxing Stay

We had a fantastic time and this rental and will be looking to stay again in the future. The condo was well furnished and equipped and had great access to the pool area. It was also clean and well maintained. The property's beach club was nearby and was a nice addition as well. We discovered that the pools are not heated and were a bit chilly for swimming but we still enjoyed our time relaxing by them. Bob was great to work with and responded quickly to any questions that we had. He was also very flexible in allowing us to extend our stay an extra night. Our only suggestion would be to include a deadbolt or some other internal lock on the front door. Our two year old was able to open the door and wander out because we were unable to lock the door from the inside. Other than that we had a great time and will be renting again from Bob in the future!

Very good suggestion about the lock and I will be looking to add a backup lock the next time we go down to our condo.
