This direct beachfront palace sits beyond private gates on just under an acre of pure luxury, where you can enjoy sunsets from your own private beach or a terrace on one of three levels. Put your toes in world class sand & turquoise waters, in your own backyard, where boats go by via Big Pass between Siesta and Lido Key. With over 9,000 sq ft of space to entertain, you can enjoy privacy even with a family of 10. Have a cookout at the outdoor kitchen while enjoying a dream pool with hot tub, water slide and grotto. The outdoor patio is inviting with vines crawling up the side of the home and the water views peeking through magical landscaping. Also notable is game room with pool and foosball tables, roof top patio with bar, and gym - it doesn't get better than this. Located at the North end of the key, this provides for fighting the least amount of traffic - take a golf cart taxi to The Village, or drive/bike over the North bridge to key places like Southside Village, Selby Gardens and downtown. Ring doorbell camera at front door.

What a house

Super home in Siesta Key. Beautifully decorated and very well stocked. The master bedroom was incredible. Beautiful pool area overlooking the water. Stunning residence.

We loved this house. Great location. The views are amazing. The backyard is like a colorful painting. Awesome views of the ocean and a pool with a water slide. There is charter fishing right down the road. We ended all nights by watching a movie in the theater room, which was very easy to use. The house manager was very receptive when we had questions. We will try and get back for sure. The only bad thing I can say is that it was hard to leave when our vacation was over!

Thanksgiving in Siesta Key

Great layout for everyone to have their own space with ability to gather. Amazing sunsets! Close to everything -- grocery, all types of dining and quick drive to Sarasota Airport which was helpful as we had family coming from different states. We would love to come back!

The property is impressive. The pool / grotto/hotub area is a highlight. Plenty of space for our party of nine. The property is not exceptionally handicap accessible but we knew that before we booked it. Otherwise, it was fantastic.

The location and the home are wonderful. There were some bugs in the electronic systems of the house. AC was challenged, but fixable. Had a lot of folks working in the house during the stay to get systems fixed. Sometimes the contractors were unannounced.

Beautiful place on the water

This is a really pretty place overall. The sunsets were beautiful. We enjoyed watching the boats go by. Our kids enjoyed the upper pool, pool slide and game room. The beds are super comfortable. The bedrooms are separated by a good amount of space making them very private. We thoroughly enjoyed the grill and the table out on the lanai. We were a little disappointed with some maintenance issues. Part of the pool (the lower section) wasn't working when we arrived. There were lots of leaves in the pool and were instructed to use the pool cleaner (which did not work either). The property manager did send someone to try to fix the pool. The grounds could have been cleaner (mop bucket full to the top with black water left on side of house) and things weren't completely picked up after the last guest. Items were found in the bushes and along the fence line. One of the dishwashers needed to be secured. Some of the bathrooms were dark due to light bulbs not working. One of the recliners facing the TV in the main living room area tilted off to the side when it was reclined. Based on the photos, we expected a little bit of a beach, but there wasn't any type of beach while we were there. Maybe this varies due to time of the year (we were there in July). For $3500 a night, we did expect a little more care of the premises or at least notification in advance of the issues with the pool. Our family still had a good time together.

Disappointing Experience - Beware of False Promises

Our stay in October 2023 at this property was, unfortunately, a major disappointment. The initial interactions with Katy were pleasant, but things quickly took a turn for the worse. We were soon passed off to her husband, Jim, who manages the account. This handoff was just the beginning of our frustrations. The house was in a state of disrepair with many broken items and unusable kitchen pans. The overall condition of the property interfered significantly with our experience, making us feel more like property managers than guests trying to enjoy time with family. We were promised a refund for the pet fee (despite having no pets) and a one-night refund for the numerous inconveniences. However, these promises came with a condition: we would only receive our refund if we refrained from posting a negative review. Despite escalating the issue with VRBO, we received no satisfactory resolution, and the host remained unhelpful. The hosts, who are realtors in the market, seemed more interested in justifying the worn condition of the house by emphasizing that the nightly rate was a deal. This justification is unacceptable, as every guest deserves a well-maintained property regardless of the rate. Overall, this experience was highly disappointing, and we expected better care and responsiveness from hosts who are professionals in the real estate market.

Incredible resort like trip

My family of 9 (one two year old) had an incredible family vacation here. Although the property manager provided a detailed list of much to do, we hardly left the property - you have no reason to! The view for sunsets is unbeatable. Owner and manager take a great deal of care and detail in the property. The pool is Disney world like. Beds and linens were all incredible. The first morning each one of us came down and said ‘wow those beds were comfortable.’ We had a wonderful time and will be back - highly recommend!

This was by far one of the nicest properties I’ve ever stayed in. It had everything we were looking for. The pool is fantastic and it was wonderful having beach access. The whole house stereo system was great as well. The property manager was available to answer all our questions about the property and the town. I cannot recommend this property enough.

We give our guests space, but are always available. Exchanging travel stories and getting to know one another is a pleasure; however, we respect that some folks just want to keep to themselves and that is okay too!

I'm from Rhode Island originally, went to college at Eckerd in St Pete and have lived in Sarasota for more than 10 years. My wife is a native. We are both involved in our community and my wife works with at risk youth. We are well traveled and enjoy sharing the best of Sarasota with others!

Why they chose this property

This property is one of very few direct beachfront homes in the area with a private beach. Located at the North end of the key, this provides for fighting the least amount of traffic - easy access to The Village, or over the North bridge to key places like Southside Village, Selby Gardens and downtown. It doesn't get any better. There is enough space for plenty of privacy, even with a group of 10. The home lights up beautifully at night and the pool is from a movie. A family would be able to thoroughly enjoy their time spent here.
