We loved our stay! Perfect for our fur baby - the fenced in yard was huge and gave her a ton of room to safely run and play. The beach access was close by and easily accessible. We LOVED that we could walk to Arts for breakfast/lunch and Winks for ice cream! We ended up bringing too much stuff as the house was very well equipped with everything. Definitely plenty of chairs and beach items to save on things to bring in the future. We will definitely be renting here again in the future.

Location location!

We had a wonderful stay with plenty of room for our group. Very clean home, attentive host, a well stocked kitchen, and minutes to the beach! Definitely need to check out Art’s Place while you’re here too. A short walk down the road for some really great burgers. And maybe a mid afternoon Bloody Mary It was a perfect week! Highly recommend renting this house.

We loved our stay at this beautiful house. The rooms were spacious, bright and airy; the beds were comfortable; the kitchen was well-stocked; the laundry room had everything we needed - detergent, beach chairs, even a ladder to help us get our storage bag back on the roof of our car. Nelene was wonderful! She was very quick to respond and even allowed us into the house early because it was cleaned and ready before 4pm check-in. The linens were clean and waiting for us when we arrived. The ceiling fans provided much added relief on hot days where the AC took a bit longer to cool down. For dog owners, the house was excellent as well. The fenced-in yard was great but as an owner of two beagles who follow their noses I did not feel confident enough to let the dogs roam free because (and I might have missed it but) I think one entrance to the backyard does not have a door so the dogs might run around the side and out the garage. It was large and private though so we kept them on leashes and it worked out well.The house is in a great location - a block to beach access and to an ice cream shop and bars/restaurants. Close to Duck and Nags Head, lots of shops and restaurants in driving distance. The porch was amazing because it had nice chairs, a picnic table and a swing!!We loved our stay. Perfect beach getaway!

The house is adorable and in a fantastic location! It's about a 2-minute walk to the beach and a few restaurants. The porch is incredible and was our favorite part of the house. The kitchen is decently stocked and the bathrooms were spacious and updated. The host was very helpful with any questions we had. We would gladly stay here again.

We had a fantastic time in OBX. This house was perfect. It is such a short walk to the beach. We all loved the big porch, the swing and the gorgeous view. The outdoor shower was great. I kept my shampoo and cleanser there and used it every day. We didn’t do much cooking, but there appeared to be everything one would need. Host’s were terrific. I highly recommend this property

Great location with beautiful ocean views

We enjoyed our stay in this Outer Banks property. It was a short drive to the Wright Brothers memorial, wild horse tour on Corolla, and various lighthouses. We loved being so close to the beach for morning walks and afternoons reading in the beach chairs that are conveniently provided by this property. All communications were promptly answered. Would recommend this as a great vacation rental!

Wonderful experience!

We absolutely loved our stay at the cottage! The place was clean, comfortable and in an awesome location in Kitty Hawk, just a two-minute walk to the beach or a short drive to great restaurants and shops. John and Nelene were fantastic hosts who were responsive to all of our questions and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we need. I'd definitely recommend staying at their properties to anyone looking for a relaxing cottage experience in the Outer Banks!

Girls Getaway

This beach cottage is absolutely charming and perfect for a week of R&R. You can easily walk to the beach and a few different restaurants nearby. When you sit on the balcony you have a perfect view of the ocean. Nelene was wonderful to us and communicated back so quickly when we had questions and were interested in recommendations.
