Vacation planning is in full swing. Yahoo Travel has named Santa Rosa Beach/Blue Mountain Beach as one of the 10 best beach destinations in the world and "Taylor Made in Blue Mountain" is only footsteps away! The untainted, sugar white sands of Blue Mountain Beach are too spectacular for words, and our beach entrance is one of only eight beaches in all of Walton County with a manned lifeguard station (during season) to add to your comfort and peace of mind.

Then there is "Taylor Made in Blue Mountain" where you can relax, let your hair down and allow the cares of the world be carried off in the sea breezes. We have worked hard to make our townhome a true home away from home as for us, IT IS. This 2 bedroom, 2 bath home has comfortable furnishings, deluxe bed linens and plenty of fluffy towels for real sized people. There is wireless internet and HBO is featured on all TVs.

The master suite has a king bed, a flat screen HD TV w/DVD and blackout curtains. The second bedroom has both a full and a queen bed and its own bath with an oversized whirlpool bath with shower.

The living room has a sectional sofa to maximize space, a NEW 40" HD SmartTV. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need. The large, private sunset view terrace is perfect for catching some rays or star gazing the night away. The deck is fully furnished with a propane gas grill, large dining table for 6 and warm sea breezes.

Located on Blue Mountain Rd., south of 30A, and directly across from beautiful Blue Mountain Beach, it is a perfect place for either a romantic getaway or a trip to the beach with family or friends. It is one of the rare spots that has not been overrun with commercialization located on a quiet street (with no high-rises). Taylor Made in Blue Mountain is only minutes from fine dining, shopping and renowned golf . Within easy walking distance, there are many local restaurants, shops and services who love to cater to our guests. Southwest Airlines service is available through the Panama City International Airport (ECP) and is just 30 min. away making travel to the beach even easier. But best of all, the BEACH is heaven on earth!

As a bonus, our guests enjoy exclusive membership privileges to enjoy the extra large pool and workout amenities at the nearby Villages of Blue Mountain just up the street 2 mins. Since membership to the Villages is restricted, the pool and exercise room are never crowded.

Everything is ready and waiting for you to feel like you have come home and have found your Slice of Paradise! Please feel free to inquire through this site. We like getting to know our guests. Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Turn off the lights, lock the doors, and return the keys
MAKE SURE all the yellow armbands & gate cards for the pool amenity are returned to the middle drawer under the TV.
Place all used towels in the downstairs bathroom floor. Do not have to strip the beds.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Rental Agreement must be completed to finalize approved stay

The host was fantastic. Great communication. The house is very close to the beach which made it very easy to get out of the sun when we wanted to. The water pressure in the showers was amazing. We also really enjoyed the upstairs patio. Walking distance to rent bikes, get ice cream at blue mountain creamery and dinner at Red Fish Taco. Overall it was a great trip for us and the house was a big reason why.

The location of this little cottage was awesome! The only reason I gave this place 4 stars is because the rooms literally have no real doors. So if you’re trying to put children to bed or have any kind of privacy you need to perhaps choose a different place.

My wife and I live in Nashville, TN. We absolutely love the quiet, slow pace of the Blue Mountain area. We also love getting to know our guests. I encourage anyone interested in our unit to reach out.

Why they chose this property

We've stayed in this unit many times...so much we bought it. We absolutely LOVE the area. Blue Mountain Beach still retains that small seaside atmosphere. It's quiet, a mix of private homes and condos. There are small family run business around us (we adore the ice cream shop and are frequent guest at Hurricane Oyster Bar - the best Smoked Tuna Dip on 30A). Our townhouse in a complex of only 8 units. And the parking is at the front door. It's free of all the daily stress...just what a vacation should be.

What makes this property unique

I enjoy getting up early, grabbing a mug of coffee and going out for a walk or run along the beach or down 30-A. It's always free of traffic and you get to meet your neighbors. Everyone is very friendly. We also love to bike as the area is very bike friendly with bike lanes and paths everywhere.

The pictures here are of the beach at our beach entrance. You can enjoy the beach without being overrun. There are fisherman going after pompano and others gather crab at sunset.

In the evening there is plenty of nightlife just a short distance away. Great locally owned restaurants to satisfy every taste and budget. For those who want to eat in, there is a Publix 5 minutes away. Want more nightlife or shopping? Then venture into Destin and enjoy the outlet mall and the high end shops at The Grand Boulevard. Or take in an outdoor movie at Seaside, just minutes down 30A.

We just love everything about the area and hope our guests get to enjoy it as much as we do.
