*Please note - to preserve the peace and quiet of the neighborhood, we have a strict low noise policy. No outdoor music. Quiet hours between 9pm and 7am. This is not a party house. We love the peace and quiet of the desert and hope that you will too.

FAQ: Steps required for access. Strict quiet hours 9 PM- 7 AM. Pool can be heated April - October. We charge the cost of propane for pool heating. Please inquire when booking.

Great stay!

This place was a great find and offered so much. We had a little hiccup with the pool upon our arrival but as soon as we reached out to Carrie she took care of it and we had no issues after. The house is very spacious and the kitchen well stocked. Close to the little markets, food, and trails too! Definitely recommend this house for a little getaway.

Great spot in the desert!

Nice house, very clean, great pool! Some windows in the bedrooms could use a covering so the early morning sun doesn’t come in. Would definitely recommend for a get away.

Desert Oasis

We loved everything about our stay at this property. Can’t wait to come back. It was perfect for our two families with a total of three kids ages 7-11. So much to see and do nearby, and also no need to leave with so much to do at the house. The front porch now ranks as one of my favorite places to sit- so peaceful and wonderful to hear so many birds. Star gazing can’t be beat!

Great time, great house, great hosts!

We had a couple of check in issues, but the hosts Carrie and Steve were fantastic at resolving them. The decor in the house was awesome. Everyday we would see something that we hadn't noticed the day before. The rooms were large and the beds quite comfortable. The backyard was spacious and just a great place to hang out and enjoy the pool. Don't forget to use the outdoor shower too, it was amazing! We even got to see the Starlink Satellite Train one night, so keep your eyes on the sky at night. We would definitely love to stay here again!

Comfortable Desert Ranch House

We loved this desert ranch house. It was the perfect place for 4 couples to have a little quiet time in the desert, with several gathering places inside and out. The home and grounds were as advertised, and very clean and well kept. The air conditioning kept us all cool during a warm spell. We'd definitely come here again.

Amazing Property!

Spotlessly clean, well stocked and well maintained, this home has so many varied and beautiful, peaceful, places to relax and hang out. The views are amazing from almost all the rooms, porches, and patios. The hosts are very generous with supplies & amenities, everything we needed for a cozy, comfortable stay was amply available. Cannot recommend this place highly enough, we hope to have the opportunity to return!!

Upscale and central place

We loved our stay here. It's in a great neighborhood and is walking distance to the park visitor center and town. From the front porch, the view of the desert was beautiful. The inside was spacious and nicely decorated.

Views! Views! Views!

We were a group a 5 adults. The four bedrooms each had their own full bathroom which was perfect for privacy when we wanted it. Front porch views were to die for. Back patio with pool was another amazing spot to hang out at. We even heard and saw some coyotes over the wall one afternoon. Perfect spot to head out to explore and perfect spot to come home to. We used the very nicely stocked kitchen and the outdoor kitchen with grill for most meals as we had some great cooks with us. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend this house!

Highly recommend- perfect getaway spot!

We had an amazing stay here for a birthday off-road trip with 10 girls, and it couldn’t have been more perfect! The house was spacious and comfortably accommodated all of us. We loved gathering around the fire pit under the stars and appreciated how close the property was to the trails. The location was stunning, with the added convenience of being near a market and a fun espresso bar. This place truly had it all, and we would absolutely stay here again!

Second Year Here - As Awesome as the First!

Our second year in a row at this property for our annual boys weekend in the desert. It was perfect!!!! The pool, the fire pit, the stargazing deck, the front porch, the mother in law apartment, everything about this house is awesome!!

Everything was perfect

We had some issues with checkin, but the property manager quickly rectified them. We could not have been happier with our stay. I think this was the 4th or 5th time we have stayed here and will be back for more. Lovely property, clean and well equipped.

Girls Weekend

Perfect spot for our large group--the house is roomy and slept all eight of us very comfortably, with multiple seating areas inside, and a really well-stocked kitchen and bar area. We used all of the outside seating areas, including the lovely front porch with spectacular views for morning coffee, the covered back porch and dining/BBQ areas for meals, and the backyard fire pit in the evenings (heads up for shooting stars!), and of course enjoyed the lovely pool. Highly recommend!

Great Property - Very Comfortable

Used as a base for a small family reunion to celebrate what would be my mother’s 100th birthday. 7 of us stayed and the house and others came by during the day and evenings. Lots of room for everyone. Both the inside and outside areas were great and very comfortable. Pool area with chairs, shade, and even a fire pit were terrific. House is nicely equipped and welcoming. We’d definitely stay there again. Very nice hosts.

Amazing Property!!! Everything you need. Book without delay. Will definitely stay here again.

Long overdue review... This house is awesome! So much room. So many nooks and crannies to hang out in. The backyard is perfect, the pool is perfect. I can't say enough good things about this house. The pool table and ping pong table in the garage converted game room. The step-mom side bedroom with bathroom and kitchenette. The dry bar. The western décor. The rooftop deck. The outdoor shower. The outdoor shaded BBQ area. They even had a guitar and a telescope. The place was perfect. We stayed for a three day, two night annual guys weekend and everyone in the group could not stop raving about the place. If Carrie will have us again this year we're definitely going to book again. If you're looking for a really nice house in Borrego Springs (a great desert getaway from the hustle bustle of Palm Springs) this Desert Oasis with Pool is all you could ask for.

A great stsy in Borrego!

The only problem was that we did not have a long enough trip. The house was great and very accommodating to our needs. The pool was awesome.well worth paying a surcharge to heat it in the Winter. The sunrise is we're outstanding.

Wonderful stay!

My family (multiple kids under 5 all the way through grandparents) greatly enjoyed our stay. The pool was fun and the surroundings beautiful. The hosts were super flexible!
