Great location, loved the cabin!

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful time at this cabin. Everything was very clean and just as described. The drive to it was easy with no crazy mountain switch backs. It was located only about 10 minutes from Pigeon Forge. Owner was personable and helpful. I'd stay here again!

Cozy mountain home

  • 5 of 5

We were evacuated from FL during hurricane Irma. We visited with 3 adults and 3 kids and there was plenty of space. We were frantic to find a place to stay that took pets and that was out of harms way from this monster storm. Mia, the owner, was amazing! She got back to us within hours of making the reservation. Since our check-in time was within the 24 hours. We were stressed and she made this nightmare that much easier. The cabin was perfect! Everything was there that we needed and food stores and shopping was super close by. I told her I would absolutley be back but this time with my husband since he had to stay during the storm for emergency communications. Thank you Mia!

Nice home, not really a cabin, great stay!

  • 4 of 5

Very clean home. Set up nicely. If you like to cook bring your own knifes, the ones they have are horrendous. No spices other than salt and pepper, maybe because it is a liability, I get that. Plenty of pots and pans, plenty of dishes. Nice touches like soap and bath towels displayed like a resort. Very thoughtful accommodations, with plenty of supplies. Sofa bed not usable, the mattress is so thin and lumpy. My youngest slept on the couch instead, if a 9 year old can't handle the mattress then you know it's bad. The King bed and Queen bed were great (I have a very bad back). Lots of pillows and bed coverings again like a nice hotel (maybe not the same quality but very nice, I work in hotels). The Wi-Fi was good, cable was good, easy access to the place when we arrived and simple instructions to access the amenities. The hot tub was a major disappointment. only 6 jets worked. 5 on one seat and 1 on another. The Jacuzzi was great but I could not stand wasting all that water. I had to do it one night due to back issues. The AC worked well when needed. Lots of windows with a nice view. The grill was like a state park grill (on a pole) but it worked great and I have no complaints. I made some of the best beef kabobs I have ever made. Bring your own charcoal and lighter. I am a light sleeper and the toilet on the lower level ran at will and made enough noise I had to get up and close the bathroom door. That took care of the issue. It would be nice if there was a fire ring to make s'mores or roast hot dogs. I do not know if Pigeon Forge allows wood burning fire rings but we brought our own gas fire ring. Also an outside table would have been nice, there is not one. If the truth be told it rained so much when we were there the window of opportunity for an outside fire or eating outside was not very big. The yard was decent, big enough to play Frisbee, croquet or even volley ball (with a bit of a slant in the yard). I would recommend this property. they take good care of it. Sure it could use some upgrades but nothing that will take away from your vacation. Also the great thing is they consider pets and allowed our dog.

Owner's Response: Glad you had a good vacation. Next time you come be sure and let me know of any problems. I will do my best to correct them. The hot tub has an air control on the top back side. You have to open it up for all the jets to work full speed. Sorry I did not know to tell you. Come back to see us. Mia Wilson
