Beautiful view and great location

  • 5 of 5

The living area has almost a 360 degree view, and the view of the mountains is great. There is ample room in the living area to cook (plenty of pots and pans), eat (nice big table) and socialize. There is plenty of parking off the road. And the cabin is very conveniently located, a little more than three miles from grocery shopping and other activities on the Parkway. This is a great place to stay!

Record-breaking cold winter vacation!

  • 3 of 5

We stayed here for a winter get away with a family of four (two adults/two kids). The view was AWESOME! The upstairs was great! We did have a few issues during the week. The heater downstairs did not work so it was much colder downstairs than upstairs. This was probably more aggravating than it normally would be as we were there during a cold front and the weather we experienced was not typical of the area (much colder). Also the fireplace was a little bit finicky. There is a narrow, winding staircase that goes to the downstairs master bedroom that felt a little bit questionable as some of the screws were lose on the spindles. If you have bad knees/hips/mobility issues, you should take that into consideration. The owner was very pleasant to work with and very available to us. She sent someone the next day to fix the fireplace (which may have just been user-error, honestly). We had a great time overall and would recommend this cabin to a family with no small babies (stairs/hill) or 2 couples looking to escape.

Amazing and so Peaceful!!

  • 5 of 5

The stay at this cabin was WONDERFUL!!! Found the cabin on this site and figured I would give it a try. Even though there are pictures and other reviews, you always take a chance when booking a place sight-unseen. Well I am so glad we did. The cabin was beyond our expectations. The cabin was very clean, up-to date, well stocked, spacious, beds very comfortable, and the owner Mia was extremely accommodating. She reached out to us several times to make sure we were okay and had what we needed. What a nice lady!! The cabin is situated in an area away from town but close enough to Sevierville (13 minute drive on nice country roads) and Pigeon Forge (10 minute drive). Since we are "flatlanders" (lol), I cannot handle a lot of windiness and high small roads where you feel you will fall off a mountain. The roads going to the cabin are smooth with plenty of room on both sides. But the most spectacular is the view...the view is awesome!! We sat on the porch nightly to watch the view. Makes you appreciate the beauty of this area.

I am so glad we chose this property. We have used VRBO the last 4 years and it's the only way to go for us anymore. We would love to come back to this area at Christmastime and Mia's place would be the one we would hopefully rent again.
