Steps away from Time Square

Nice location. Bathroom should be remodeled. The shower tiles could have used a good scrubbing. Over all it was fine. Staff was super nice, helpful!

Great location!

My son and I came for a spring break trip for him. We were very pleased with our stay! The staff were so nice and helpful. The room wasn’t as small as I expected. The location was perfect! I would definitely stay here again!

Great Location but needs ice machine

The location is wonderful but my major complaint would be no ice machine in the building or coffee or anything in the room. It would be nice to at least be able to get ice for water. Staff and room were nice.

Great location and easy stay!

The hotel was as expected and the thing that didn’t match up was that it said it had a city view which it did not, however that is a minor complaint. It would’ve also been nice to have a fridge/microwave in the room but otherwise perfect for my friend and I. The bed was extremely comfortable, bathroom was nicely set up and the front desk even offers to store your luggage for you if you want to walk around.

Exactly what it says it is

Small and utilitarian but spotlessly clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. As long as you don’t mind being in one of the busiest areas of New York, the location is perfect.

Came for a weekend, appreciate the celebration acknowledgement sincerely! Front desk staff was phenomenal. Offered concierge service. Bathroom in room, but large & private. Nice view. Big tv. Walk in shower with towels, nice soap, shampoo & conditioner.

Lots of Hidden Fees

Overall, the location was perfect for what we wanted. However, the room was small with a somewhat functional bathroom. Do not book this room for an extended stay in which you have more than one piece of luggage. One person working the hotel check-in which took over an hour. Also, daily resort fees (for use of a microwave which the unit did not have) and security deposit were not discussed/disclosed as a part of the reservation process. Rental was paid in full upfront and hit with the extra fees/deposit upon arrival. I departed on 11/27 and still waiting on my security deposit to be refunded. The location and proximity to Rockefeller Center/ St. Patrick's/Theater District was amazing. I would recommend you book another place in this area.

Tiny Room in the heart of Theater District

If you don't care about small, this is your place. You walk in to literally a bed and no room to move around. The bathroom is also tiny. We were promised a view of the city, but instead we had a view of a brick wall of the building next door, which in turn caused the room to be very dark. It was disturbing to think it was sunny daylight out, but felt like night in the room. The silver lining was it made for a quiet and dark evening to get an ok night rest... if only the mattress was comfy and the bed didn't squeak. I would not stay here again. Only real positive is that we could walk quickly to the theater, restaurants and shops. PS - this is the OYO hotel... not an apartment.

Better listings out there

First impression upon entering: the room was dirty. Clumps of dust hanging out of the vents, hair on the pillows and sheets, faucet and sink weren’t even cleaned. The photo in the listing is edited to enhance the look when in reality there’s hardly enough room to even walk and the window is facing a concrete wall. Also, had to spend an extra $45 a night on fees that we weren’t told of before. This would’ve been better had this all been honest of what to expect. I’ve never wrote a poor review before but it was all too disappointing. Better spots out there that will be cheaper once you factor in the additional fees, I promise you.
