The Fox Lodge is your destination for all seasons with a friendly relaxed Up North atmosphere. Lots of room to roam along with detail added amenities for your comfort and enjoyment while exploring the Yoop!
You name it, this lodge has it! Three Bedrooms each with Sealy queen sized mattresses, sofa bed and three twin size lounge hide a beds. Loaded kitchen, automatic brew and K-cup coffee makers, stainless steel appliances including a dishwasher!
Open common area includes a kitchen with Pub style table and chairs, beautiful dining area with an over sized large farm style table and wrap around windows. Wi-Fi will take great care of the 72" smart flat screen and soundboard centered for viewing in the common areas. Comfortable living room stocked with two couches, a love seat and comfy chair with ottoman. Washer and dryer located in the wide open basement offers room to store your gear and extra supplies. Sliding door off the kitchen leads to a deck, gas and charcoal grills, fire pit, outdoor furniture and picnic tables. The front yard offers an attached 2 bay garage to store your toys, a concrete pad and 30 amp hookup for camping (ask for details), with absolutely no problem parking your trucks and trailers.  The Crazy 8's  right out your door, Grand Marais Sno-Trails groomed along the front property line.  Explore the back forty woodlands to the highest point in Alger County, where you'll find two concrete pads that once housed Grand Marais Air Force General Surveillance Radar Station. The Fox Lodge sits on 43 acres, nestled in wooded surroundings offering you a quiet place to relax and plan tomorrow's adventures while creating today's memories.

The home was so welcoming and comfortable! Beautiful furnishings, but yet relaxed. Plenty of room inside and out for playing, letting the kids run, BBQ etc. Definitely my favorite place we have stayed in the UP and the best house we have rented for our family vacation with our adult children and grandchildren!

January Snowmobile Adventure

Great home base for our riding group. Plenty of parking for our two towing rigs and nice garage space to thaw out the sleds after each day’s ride. Lodge was comfortable and clean. Highly recommend. On trail location was perfect. Would definitely stay here again.

A Great Location and space for family

We rented this house because it was located on the same street as friends of ours and it sits right on the snowmobile trail. The house has a nice open layout that can seat about 24 people between the living room, dining room and large dining table in the sunroom. It was very clean and had all the kitchen things you would ever need. The master bedroom was small but it was nice to have our own bathroom. There are two additional rooms down the hall that were very cold. It might be nice to have a heater in the hallway outside the doors to warmup that area more because there was a definite difference between that area and coming up to the main floor. The only issue I had was getting in touch with the host prior to our stay. I tried to reach out via VRBO, email and text but did not hear back until I physically called her a couple days before our trip started. I give her grace though because it was the holiday season and I know everyone was busy and she was very sweet. She even gave us a discount because the weather did not cooperate and we were unable to snowmobile. The only other thing that happened was the last day of our trip the hot water heater went out. That was a big bummer. My boys braved it and took cold showers, but this girl can not do that. The host did offer to set us up with a room at a local hotel so we could shower, but we had friends right there in town so went there instead. All was good. This is a great house and we would definitely stay again

Great rental!!

The place was great and will 100 percent be going back. It was very clean with plenty of sleeping arrangements and was perfect for snowmobiles being that the trail is going through the front yard. The owners were very friendly and easy to work with.
