Grand Marais cottage rentals

Our family of 6 enjoyed our 5-night stay at Nevins Lake. The kitchen, family room, laundry facilities, and bathroom were excellent. Our kids enjoyed the lofted bedroom. The main floor bedrooms are simple but worked well for us. The grounds are spacious, and the view from the back yard is beautiful. We enjoyed the firepit and back patio table, both with lake views. The tiki torches and unlimited firewood made for great times around the fire. The availability of 4 kayaks (1-person each), a canoe, a paddleboat, and a rowboat made it easy for all of us to get out on the water at the same time. Highlights for us included swimming in the lake and fishing (good pike, smallmouth bass, and bluegill fishing; largemouth bass are available as well).The house is closer to the Pictured Rocks attractions than we expected. Our favorites were the Log Slide Overlook, Grand Sable dunes, Hurricane River hike along Lake Superior, Chapel Rock, and Miners Beach/Castle.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Grand Marais at Campbell Cottage. We had four adults, and each person had a couch or bed (including a queen size air mattress) to sleep on. It was cozy but just what we expected, even though the photos in the listing only show one BR. (There are two as the description indicates.) The kitchen is well appointed and we also enjoyed using the grill on our last night. WiFi worked well as did the smart TV.

Clean, spacious for the 6 of us. Plenty of parking room for trailers and easy access to the trails. No dishwasher but it wasn't an issue for our group. Loved having a place to hang all of our gear after riding. We'll def return! Thank you for sharing your home with us.

The property was lovely. It was very clean. The owner thought of everything, puzzles, books, games, clean linens and all with a beautiful view.

I can’t say enough about our stay at the Music Makers Cottage. Extremely clean. Well appointed. Had everything we needed and more. Not one detail was overlooked. We cook most of our meals and the kitchen was prefect. We did not eat in town so don’t know about food options. Washer and dryer came in handy as we stayed several days. The main bed was small so my husband and I stayed in the second bedroom each in our own twin bed. Very comfortable. Nice linens. It was fun. Reminded us if when we were kids. We laughed and talked and read and listened to the waves of Lake Superior. Fabulous. Susan, having the queen size bed next year will be great. Still might sleep in the twins though. Lol The only thing we found a little awkward was the shower. I was perfectly comfortable, but my husband as a larger man, struggled a bit. Ceiling fans were inoperable, but we didn’t need them due to the cool air. Thank you Susan for saying you were replacing them soon. The church bells at 9 each night made for beautiful ending to each day. Proximity to all of the Picture Rocks hikes was terrific. We did them all. Lastly, the beach over the dunes made our stay fabulous. Beautiful sunsets and sunrises. Thank you Susan and team for an absolutely tremendous stay. Thanks for sharing your home. We felt at home. We will be back.

We previously stayed at Water's Edge in 2017 and enjoyed our time greatly, so much that we were excited to rent this spot again for our follow up trip this year. The property manager Lisa is great with communication and response time. When we arrived, there was delicious local bread and jam for us to enjoy. The views of the water and the surrounding area are unbelievably gorgeous, the windows face east and west for great light and beautiful looks. The weather took a turn for the chilly but we were snug and cozy, the heating worked very well. Location-wise you are a very short drive into town and can access many beautiful national park areas within an hours drive of Munising. I really love how quiet and peaceful the property is.

Property was as advertised. Close to trails. Thermostat automatically turns down to 63 at night, it was pretty cold and drafty so pack some heavy blankets. Overall very happy.
