We had a wonderful time. It would have been nice if the AC worked. The hotel was very clean.

The hotel was great. We wished that the hot tub would not have been closed and if the AC would have worked. The hotel was clean and had a very nice kitchen.

Weekend Ski Trip

Lovely to be in the Schweitzer Village. Sleep in a little, grab some breakfast and just walk to the lifts for a great day of skiing/snow boarding. Indoor parking, so unloading/loading is out of the elements. Nice comfortable place. Our family had a great time. We would definitely do it again.

Overall a nice property. The bed was very comfortable and the furniture was as well. The lodge itself is under construction which I believe messed with the AC. It was very hot in the hallways which seeped into the unit. The door to the condo was extremely challenging to close securely. I believe this was due to the excessive heat in the hallway causing the door or casing to swell. There was only one hotel type AC in the bedroom that had to run constantly to keep the condo bearable. There were a few amenities missing such as no kitchen towels or wash clothes. No wifi password was provided. Coffee machine only used Nespresso pods, which don't fit normal size pods. None were provided. We went out for coffee instead. Overall, a nice place, but missing some key things.

Disappointing experience

The White Pines Lodge is located on Schweitzer Mountain, and the room is as pictured. However, the amenities listed both air conditioning and internet, and both were unsatisfactory. While there was an AC unit in the bedroom, it was broken. I contacted the owner and he indicated that it was broken for awhile and required a part that is on backorder. While the owner had provided a large fan, we stayed during at the unit during the last week of July so it was quite warm and was difficult to sleep in the evening. The owner recommended opening a window, but there is only one window that is able to open, and it is designed in a way that only allows it to be opened perhaps a quarter of the way. Also, the wi-fi is provided by the free wi-fi available to all of Schweitzer Mountain and is extremely unreliable. To top matters off, after arriving at the unit on Sat we saw a notice by the elevator that power was scheduled to be out from 9am to 4pm on Mon, which was not disclosed when I made the reservation. The power indeed went out promptly at 9am, and after it returned the satellite TV no longer worked (although the issue was not unique to the unit, it impacted at least all of White Pines Lodge).

Very clean and cozy and an extremely good location to ski!

You can’t get much closer to the ski lifts at Schweitzer than this place! The condo unit was very clean and cozy and had almost everything we required. We would have liked to have had a basic coffee pot in the unit to make our own coffee and as much as we liked. Pods and a Nespresso were in the unit, but not enough pods. No huge deal though. We feel like the description of the unit is a bit misleading. It is titled as a Two bedroom and unless you look at the beds rundown, you might think it has two actual bedrooms, which is what I thought I was booking. Again, not a huge deal. I know that to get two actual bedrooms with doors, we need to actually book a “three bedroom.” The descriptions seem odd and misleading.
