This is a comfortable house, full of quirky but delightful decor (lots of architectural salvage items like moldings, windows, etc.). Well-equipped kitchen, plenty of towels, comfortable beds, and a pleasant, responsive host who got back to us quickly on all our questions. Highly recommended.
Our stay was fine with no real issues. The home is in need of a good handyman as doors don’t all shut or lock. Interior is dark with a lot of decor catching dust making it hard to really clean well. Some of the lights weren’t working. Bathrooms were nice. Beds were comfortable. There is a train that goes by a couple times a night. Would recommend earplugs if sensitive to noise. We did enjoy the deer and wildlife around.
We stayed here during our son’s Cooperstown visit. The house is a charming 3 bedroom with 2 baths. It was the perfect spot for my family and in-laws. The beds were comfy after a long day on the field. Location was walking distance to downtown and an easy drive to the field. The host Charlie was so nice and easy to work with. Highly recommended this house!
Overall, this was a great place to stay for playing at All-Star all village. Very close to the field. The house was clean. The beds were comfortable. The only grip I would have about the house is that none of the doors locked including the bathroom doors. The house was very nice and responsive. We enjoyed the outdoor space with the front porch and the backyard table.
