Matterhorn Pines - Newly Remodeled Vacation Rental

Welcome to our completely remodeled lake view mountain home. This spacious 3000 sq ft, 3 story, 4 bedroom plus bunk bed nook, 4 1/2 bath mountain home is now available to enjoy as a private vacation rental for you, your friends and your family.

Enjoy mountaintop privacy with tons of natural light, a soaring ceiling, gorgeous lake views on one side and desert pinnacle views on the other. All of the bedrooms have lake views as well as the kitchen, game room and great room.

The main entrance is on the middle floor where the foyer opens to an open concept gourmet kitchen and huge great room. Enjoy an eat-in kitchen complete with a fireplace and flat screen tv. The kitchen has an oversized island that seats 6 comfortably.

Past the buffet and beverage station, you enter into the great room with a 25'+ soaring ceiling and a rock fireplace with another flat screen tv. Four sets of sliding glass doors and over sized A framed glass window sandwich this room with sunrises above the mountains surrounding the lake and sunset views on the desert side of the room. Here you will find comfort in several oversized seating arrangements and dining options. Enjoy a large, 84" dining table that seats 8 as well as a second dining table that can seats 6.

On the main level is one of two primary suites. This primary bedroom has a rather high Eastern King bed with steps to climb into. The en suite bath has "his" and "hers" vanities and a shower. This bedroom has sliding glass doors that open to a deck as well as a flat screen tv.

The second en suite primary is on the lower level, has a private bathroom with a shower/tub combination, a private deck with access to the jacuzzi with lake view and a flat screen tv. There are two more bedrooms on this level; one with two twins and the other with a queen bed. There is an additional bathroom with a rain head shower. A full sized washer and dryer closet is also on this level. There is direct entry to this floor from our driveway and 3 car parking space which makes for easy loading and unloading of luggage. Enter into a foyer and mud room.

On the top floor is the game room loft complete with a pool table, darts and a poker table that seats 4 but more can join in. A comfortable sofa with a slip cover and another flat screen tv and wall unit provide hours of entertainment with board games and video games. This is the family or kids room. There is a bunk bed nook and a full size bathroom with shower. Additional bedding includes 2 extra long twin fold out mattresses and a double sized air bed can make for a fun sleepover in the game room. This room also has the best view of the lake and overlooks the great room.

Wow! What a great place for family and friends to hang out and enjoy time bonding.

In addition, there are a few decks to hang out on, jacuzzi spa to enjoy and a grill for BBQ's. The sun shines on the lake side so there are 4 chaise lounges to soak up the sun in winter or summer. There is also an outdoor dining table that can accommodate 6.

Parking - 4 cars confirmed on site. Our parking pad accommodates 3 cars comfortably. You could park more but then you would have to shuffle cars to get out. We also have a cut-out in the front of the house for one more car to park.

Please note that Lake Arrowhead is a private lake. We are members and have lake rights. Guests can access the lake trails by purchasing passes. If interested, we can provide additional information upon booking.

If you wish to enjoy water sports, Lake Gregory and Big Bear Lake permit public use and are nearby.

Our home is very private and only available as a "whole house" stay.

I have a local manager close by to assist in check in and also available in case of weather related emergencies. I make sure to keep the access road plowed and the driveway and parking pad shoveled for winter vacations.
