Island Breeze is only a few steps away from the CB Harbor, a short walk to the beach and boardwalk—so close to great restaurants and nightlife! Our room was well appointed, shower was awesome. The property manager is out and about all day if you need anything. Property is lovely with a seating area, fountain and Live Oaks.

Don’t visit CB during the fall season

The stay was cool overall. Very underwhelming from outside of the property. Clean inside but very little to work with also, the tv isn’t the most reliable. The people on the property were somewhat friendly but the locals were not. This location is 8 mins from the boardwalk so that’s a plus, but going to CB in the fall will be your biggest mistake ever.

Great for what we needed

The property was clean and comfortable though small. The location was fine and reasonably close to the beach. The selections for dining and entertainment were not so great since nearly everything closes at 9 PM. The kitchenette lacked a range so only microwave cooking was possible. The light fixture in the shower had capped wires dangling and the dresser drawers were not well functioning for your clothes, but other than that the property was in good condition. We enjoyed ourselves very much.

Great long weekend getaway

We had a blast! We parked our car and threw the keys in a drawer the whole time. Might not be walkable for everyone, but we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go on Carolina Beach, the beach included. The “Captains Quarters” theme was well done. Very nice shower, and the room can get very cold, a great rest from the summer heat. Would definitely stay here again.
