About this property

Cypress Cove - Cozy home just off Hiwassee River in Historic Charleston TN

So much to do; so little time!
As we enter our fourth year of hosting we welcome you to come spend some time at Cypress Cove. We work hard to offer a clean, comfortable, well maintained home for your family to enjoy. The house was remodeled to better suit a Vrbo clientele and all of our travelers have found it clean and charming.
Centrally located to multiple attractions. Dollywood, Smokey Mountains, Ocoee River Rafting, Lee University, Ramble Creek and Howe Farm wedding venues. Tri-State Exhibition center as well as close by Chattanooga attractions.
2 bedrooms with King beds, 3rd bedroom with two double beds, fully equipped kitchen, screen deck, fire pit, Cypress Grove joins the property. Walking distance to the Hiwassee River and Charleston city park with nice playground, covered pavilion and walking trails. Charleston Heritage Center, with in depth exhibits pertaining to the Trail of Tears and the Civil War, is also within walking distance. All new bed and bath linens furnished. There are a couple streets nearby that cross the train tracks and the train does blow a horn before crossing. How often this happens varies greatly. We have purchase a couple of white noise machines for the King bedrooms. If you are a light sleeper and that horn is bothersome, hopefully those will make your night more peaceful. Nice little community.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

John and I welcome you to Cypress Cove. We have owned this home for many years and decided 3 years ago to list it as a vacation home rather than rental property. We updated and furnished it adding new bedding, linens, kitchen needs etc as well as a new HVAC unit. John is a lifelong resident of the Charleston area (and I have been here 40+ years as well) and we love the area and all it has to offer so it seemed a perfect fit to list this house with VRBO so you can enjoy the beauty, majesty , and history of our little town as well. We have been members of VRBO on the traveler side for many years and have always found it to be a great way to vacation and spend time with family. We hope you enjoy your stay at Cypress Cove.

Why they chose this property

Charleston is such a quaint little town full of history and charming people. Convenient location to the Interstate 75 makes a quick commute to Chattanooga, Knoxville and surrounding locales. Several historic buildings within walking distance; Henegar House, Cumberland Presbyterian Church (both civil war era) and the local depot for the train are all with 2 blocks of the house.
