Welcome to Daydream By The Gulf in the West Beach area of Gulf Shores! You are sure to fall in love with the beautiful white sandy beaches and emerald waves just as we did from the day we arrived. The Village is a low density smoke free complex with only 15 units and is located across the two lane road from the beach. There is public beach access down across the street from us and unofficial beach access just across from Waves convenience store, making your short walk to the beach very easy and accessible! Pleasea be aware that we are located on the second level (equivalent to third level due to the building being raised on stilts) and there is no elevator.
You are about 1.6 miles away from the heart of Gulf Shores including the Hangout, the Shrimp Festival, Bahama Bob's, amazing restaurants and a variety of shopping yet far enough to avoid the bigger crowds and heavier traffic. There is also a Waves convenience store, Island Ice Cream and Treats for a great way to cool off during the summer months and The Beach House Kitchen and Cocktails restaurant which has a variety of amazing food just around the corner from our unit. The Gulf Shores state park is only 3 miles away where you can rent bikes and walk the trails or if a concert is bringing you to town, the Wharf and Flora-Bama are both a short drive away.
When you aren’t out exploring the Gulf Shores area, make yourselves comfortable in our owner managed two bedroom, two bathroom condo with a private balcony. The first bedroom includes a king size bed and cable tv with a private bathroom while the second bedroom features two twin size beds and cable tv. Both bathrooms are supplied with one roll of toilet paper and then you will need to bring your preference of shampoo/conditioner/soap and personal hygiene products as these are not provided.
There is a stackable washer and dryer in the hallway, however, we do not provide laundry detergent. There are also boogie boards, an umbrella, beach chairs and sand toys in the hallway closet for you to enjoy during your stay but please remember to return them before you leave so that our next guests can enjoy them as well!
The full kitchen is equipped with a drip coffee maker(don’t forget to pack your favorite coffee/filters), cookware, utensils, dishes and silverware along with one roll of paper towels, garbage bags and dishwasher tablets to get your stay started.
You will find a 58" Roku tv set up on guest mode in the living room or just scroll through the 250 channels on rainy days. Free wifi is also available to all of our guests whether you are here for work or to simply relax and enjoy some down time. The sofa also turns in to a bed.
As for outside amenities, enjoy the small pool on the property that is shared among the guests of the complex along with a public charcoal grill and picnic area.
**Please note that the pool is not heated and may be closed at times throughout the winter months (November through February).**
There are two outside showers in the front or back of the property to rinse off your feet and beach toys after spending a day in the sand.
**Please be aware that we are located on the second level (equivalent to third level due to the building being raised on stilts) and there is no elevator.
**You will also be required to display a parking pass on the front dash of the driver's side and only one car is allowed per stay.

HOUSE POLICIES:
*This is a family owned condo so please be respectful of your neighbors at all times and no parties. Due to the complex's shared occupancy of 14 units, you may expect to hear external noise from sources including footsteps above, children, garbage collection, maintenance activities and other outside sounds.
*The maximum occupancy of our unit is 6 and there are no exceptions due to HOA, insurance and safety requirements. Only registered guests are allowed in the property and the person who made the reservation must be staying at the property all times and is responsible for their guests during their visit.
*No smoking/vaping anywhere on the premises and this includes no smoking/vaping on the balcony.
*No pets of any kind are allowed.
*This property features an exterior security ring doorbell camera and does not infringe on your privacy.
*No tampering with locks, wifi or camera as this will result in the immediate termination of your stay with no refund.

My wife and I live on a farm and have several local properties which I manage and take care of while my wife homeschools our youngest two of four children. Our passion is traveling in our 1999 Dodge van that we converted in to a campervan and appreciate when time allows for it. We want your stay with us to be filled with good times that you will remember for years to come and will do all that we can to make sure you are making memories in every moment with your loved ones.

We came down to Gulf Shores and fell in love with not only the area, but the generosity of all the people we came in to contact with. We felt this property was perfect for us because it was not only right across the street from the beach but also close enough to the popular attractions of Gulf Shores. Being a family of a six, we also enjoy the fact that there are two bedrooms and two bathrooms available. We met some of the other neighbors in the complex who are very friendly and take very good care of the building. My wife and I love to travel when time allows but for now we are excited to share our Daydream by the Gulf with others!
Qué distingue a esta propiedad
The location of our condo is what drew us in as you are able to walk right across the street to the beach or for those who are more used to walking, you can also walk down to the heart of Gulf Shores which is just under 2 miles. My wife and I did walk down to the Hangout with our youngest two children ages 8 and 11 on the beach though and it took about 45 minutes. Walking the sidewalk would have probably been faster and easier. Also, just around the corner from our unit is a wonderful restaurant called the Beach House Kitchen and Cocktails or an ice cream shop called Island Ice Cream and Treats (closed during the winter months). The kids really enjoy the pool and always seem to have it to themselves for at least part of our stay as there are only 15 units in the complex that we share the pool with. While the pool is not heated, it has always been nice and warm every time we jump in!
