Why Lynn Ketola chose Baraga
I loved the unique cabin this property had. We renovated it and added many amenities. While it is not in the woods it is easy to find. The location is great to go on day trips and see the local area, too.

Perfect Little Get-Away Cabin
My wife and I booked this cabin for a one night stay during our winter trip across the UP. It was perfect sized for us two and our dog. Everything was very clean and tidy when we arrived. Wood for the fireplace was easily found right beside the front porch. The best part of all was waking up to the beautiful sunrise over the lake! I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone!!
Thank you so much for your kind words. Yes that sunrise is wonderful! I hired a special needs young mother of 4 and she has done a wonderful job of cleaning the cabin.
Cute cabin with beautiful view
We stayed for a quick one night while visiting family in the area. View of lake was beautiful with the snow. Would likely be even more beautiful in summer. Cabin was well stocked with bedding and towels. Communication with Lynn was great. It was cold the night we were there. We were staying such a short time we didn’t use fireplace for heat. Once we turned up both the heat on the wall unit and the wall thermostat for main heat it warmed up enough.
We loved Little Bear Cabin!
Little Bear Cabin is everything you’d expect from a charming little log cabin on the lake. It was a perfect midway location for my husband and I to explore the Keweenaw Peninsula and The Porkies! Cabin, kitchenette, and bathroom were clean and tidy. Plenty of extra towels in the closet and new sheets on the bed. We did quite a bit of cooking in the little kitchen and were able to find all the cooking utensils we needed by doing a quick sweep of the cabin. The fireplace added nice charm and kept us toasty warm. We were happy to see a large supply of logs outside as well. If we ever do a similar trip, we’d be happy to rent The Little Bear Cabin again.
Located only one fourth mile from Baraga State Park on the lake.
