Had a great stay while in town to compete at Michigan Tech. Easy drive to Houghton and the trails. House was clean and worked well for a group of eight. Beautiful views out across the lake.
clean, spacious, unique, quirky home
unbelievable property - particularly the gorgeous waterfront and Baraga cliffs nearby
located so conveniently in the midst of all the UP has to offer - we enjoyed our days relaxing at the home as well as day trips to Copper Harbor, Porcupine Mountains, and Pictured Rocks
A beautiful old house with breathtaking views of Lake Superior! Plenty of room for our family of 11, with enough little spaces for everyone to do their own things if they wanted to.
Our son was graduating from Michigan Tech and this house provided the perfect spot for family to stay for the weekend. There was plenty of space for sleeping and great areas for gathering for talking, meals, and games. The view of the lake from the house was outstanding! Access to the lakeshore was an added bonus and we enjoyed checking out the rocks and beauty of the lake. We would love to come back someday!
Great home for getting together under one roof. Clean, plenty of room, awesome views, beautiful beach and plenty of room for parking with trailers with snowmobiles. Only complaint is that mother nature didnt cooperate for snow on the trails. Overall great place to stay.
We loved our stay for the week here! The private beach was great! Kids loved skipping rocks and having bonfires each night down by the water. Smores every night was a hit too! House was big enough for all of us and centrally located to visit the Porcupine Mountains and a trip to Copper Harbor. This home had lots to offer and so much charm & character.
5 families with 2 children stayed here for a Graduation from Baraga HS. We had an absolute blast. The house was very clean, with nice added perks. Loved the bag of coffee- Yooper Blend, and other perks. Used the Kayaks & had bonfires on the beach. Thank you, Paul for a truly spectacular weekend.
Great house, great private beach with kayaks/paddleboard/rowboat
Beautiful house right on Lake Superior; amazing lake views from living room and two of the bedrooms on the east side of the house.
Easy walk down some stairs (or a longer detour on a path) to the beach. Completely private with some nice sandy parts (mostly the usual Superior beach stones). Owners provided a huge popup canopy, kayaks, a paddleboard and a rowboat. We and our kids had a great time, thank you!
Conveniently located with some small stores nearby and not that far to drive up the rest of the Keewenaw peninsula.
Very charming and spacious. The only thing that would have helped in the house was more and brighter lights (especially in the downstairs bathroom and living room) and the air
conditioning really didn’t work well, but that it was only for a couple of days when it was well into the upper 80’s. Had a lot of fun with paddle board and kayaks. The beach was beautiful would have been nice if there was a path free of rocks (for the elderly)to get from the beach to the water.
Group of 10 of us stayed here! The beds are extremely comfortable and the pillows are wonderful also. We cooked our meals at the house and had lots of laughs around the tables! Appreciated the delicious coffee and other amenities such as trash bags and toilet paper. The beach is absolutely stunning but the walk to and from can be a challenge. Some of our party could not navigate it well so didn’t make it down. Lots of room for all of our stuff and we kept all the coolers on the back deck. Trails are right across the street. Lots of nearby riding trails. We even rode our sXs to Copper Harbor.
Thank you for sharing your wonderful property with us. We had 3 families stay in the house. Plenty of room for us. The kids loved spending the day down at the beach and building a village with all the rocks and driftwood. Had a couple fires or the beach and used the kayaks when the water was calm. Was a bit nervous with a toddler getting down to the beach but he did fine on the path. Great weekend getaway!
We’re from west Michigan (under the bridge) and just love the Upper Peninsula! This home was nice, spacious, comfortable, with an amazing view! The house had plenty of space for 2 families. We bought groceries, cooked, enjoyed the rocky beach, and beautiful cliffs down the shore. So happy there are kayaks to borrow and beach seating with an amazing firepit! We saw an eagle fishing several days. Had an amazing time here and the owner was super attentive to our needs! Highly recommend!
