Our pastry chef had a wedding cake to decorate. The kitchen was great! Nice long counters, nice big refrigerator. The rooms were great! Close to shopping and all of the places we needed to go. When I had a question our host was quick to return a txt. Adorable farmhouse!!
The rental matched everything in the description - cute, renovated, and close to downtown. Unit was clean when we arrived and the host was responsive throughout the whole process, from the initial agreement until our departure. We’d stay there again.
Everything was exactly as the listing described. The house was clean & comfortable. Sarah, the property manager, was very responsive to messages and wanted to make sure that we had everything we needed. We enjoyed our stay very much!
House is clearly renovated and in GREAT condition. Really awesome price considering you’re only 20(ish) minutes from a lot of the activities and adventures in Charleston!!!! Stayed here for 3 days and 2 nights and we LOVED every bit of it. The inside is a lot bigger than I would have expected! Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone
Host was super responsive and helpful. We stayed here to enjoy a home cooked Thanksgiving meal and it was cozy, comfortable, clean, and great to spend quality time with each other. Kitchen was well equipped and everything you need was available. Great for family time!
Super cute little cottage. Just what we needed for an economic option but didn’t feel like we were sacrificing comfort. Great location for driving downtown and to the North Charleston coliseum!
The home was very clean, updated and had everything we needed. The welcome snacks were a great touch! Convenient to downtown Charleston and Mt. Pleasant.
The host was excellent to work with. It is a lovely house. It is definitely an industrial area and is has little parking. We were comfortable and the house is very clean.
Had a great weekend in North Charleston! We didn’t spend much time on the property but it was cute and clean and Sarah is a great hostess. She left us little snacks and toiletries and had wonderful recommendations for food, drink, and activities. Would definitely stay again.
We had a awesome stay here! A short trip to downtown charleston, and not too far from the beach! We took an Uber to downtown and to schem creek, and it was the perfect distance to everything! The host responded very quickly and I would recommend this place to anyone!

Thanks for the kind words, Sarah. We would love to have y'all back anytime. :)
We enjoyed our stay. The location to everything was great. The only downside was the cottage is in a very industrial area. And it did not have any outside amenities.
But we would definitely stay there again.
Thanks again for a lovely time.

This house was adorable and accurately described. Perfect for a two night stay! It is definitely in an industrial neighborhood. I had company so I felt safe. It truly was quiet and we had zero issues. I just wish the surrounding houses /businesses were kept up as well as the Vrbo house! Great communication with host; we would stay here again. Thanks!!
We arrived Friday afternoon for a show that was playing at the nearby firefly distillery. Paid 50 for early check in and was able to do so at 1pm. A breaker had tripped for one of the bedrooms but Sarah directed me to the breaker box quickly and the issue was resolved. Just a short drive to downtown. Location was convenient but the neighborhood wasn’t the greatest though we had no issues and it was quiet. The neighboring mechanics shop bas some awesome cars and the people that own it are very nice! Nextdoor neighbors were also friendly. The house was very clean and as pictured though the master bedroom mattress could use an update. I’m a big guy at 6’4 245lbs and the support of the bed left a lot to be desired. I opted for one of the other rooms with a better mattress. Overall a great weekend in charleston
What a great stay! Sarah was fantastic from the beginning. She ensured that I read the property description and understood that the location is in a more industrial area, so there were no surprises. The area is quiet and safe, though, so there were no concerns.
The house is perfect for a family or small group (up to six). It is decorated adorably and has most everything you may need for a week. The coffee maker wasn't working on our first morning and Sarah dropped off one that day.
The information Sarah sent for check-in/ checkout were very detailed and easy to understand. She sent great recommendations for restaurants, activities, etc. and was quick to respond. Could not ask for a better hostess.

Thanks for the sweet words, Alison. We would love to host y'all again next time you're in Charleston. :)
We very much enjoyed this jewelbox of a home as a resting spot for our visit. Super convenient to downtown, easy to to-and-fro from, and enough space for our family of four (including gangly teen-aged twins) to relax at the end of the day. House was beautifully clean and tidy upon arrival. Bathrooms were very thoughtfully supplied with various soaps and toiletries. The beds are all super comfy, and the bedding was attractive and comfortable. The laundry room on the backside of the house was so convenient, nice, clean and neat, well lit, and totally not spooky! -We've seen some things, y'all :)
The house is tucked into a little side road between some industrial areas and lumberyards, with just one immediate neighbor. It was generally quiet, with an occasional (2x in seven days) early train passing by. We sleep with a white noise machine, and didn't find the train disruptive.
The kitchen is a great little nook for breakfast and coffee, with plenty of space to whip up a snack or two. We very much enjoyed checking out the restaurants in Charleston, and were happy to settle in mostly with snacks and drinks at 'home'.
We very much enjoyed our stay, and absolutely recommend this space. Sarah was excellent in her response time, communication in general, and her recommendations of nearby attractions were spot on! This was a much enjoyed 'post-pandemic' Spring Break for our family, and we are extremely grateful to have found this gem.

Lisa, thank you so much for the kind review. I’m so glad you enjoyed your stay! You and your family are welcome back anytime!
EVERY ROOM in this house was absolutely uninhabitable!!! The dust, dust mites, hair, dog fur made me wonder when was the last time someone actually rented this house. The owner said to take shoes off at the door, which we did and it looked like 1000 people had been in the house with shoes already. The ENTIRE beach was on the floor in the living room. The beds had sheets turned inside out and when we pulled the sheets off to wash them (just in case) there was hair on the mattress protectors. The cleaners had to have seen that IF they actually cleaned. The master bathroom had mold in the shower, the glass doors were never cleaned, the window sills had hair and dog fur. The laundry room had old underwear next to the washer and dryer covered in dust and dirt along with socks. The stove had NEVER been cleaned by the way that looked. There were cobwebs from the living room wall to the kitchen wall as if it was connected somehow. The couch covers were so dirty that when you sat down, a cloud of dust puffed up. I am NOT JOKING people. This house was an absolute disgrace and when I spoke to VRBO, all they wanted was basically for me to go away quietly and take my refund. No, if there are people out there like me who have allergies to MANY things, YOU NEED to know so you don't stay at this house or there can be MAJOR health consequences for you. I sneezed, I itched, my friends were bitten by whatever was in there!!! BEWARE!!!!
Friends and I were here for a wedding, and in the bridal party so didn’t spend too much overall time at the property. It was clean upon arrival and check in and check out was smooth. The area is definitely industrial and not the best, but it was very quiet and we felt safe staying there.
A bit hard to find. Host was amazing though which made up for location. Enjoyed Charleston - rent from her… she’s awesome!

WORST RENTING EXPERIENCE
This is the WORST experience I’ve had with renting a stay. Starting off when we got to the location it was located in a very remote sketchy place. No kidding I passed it intentionally because I thought I had the wrong location did not seem safe. Secondly, the air conditioner had repeated problems. We stayed Friday- Sunday and it broke everyday during the day and in the middle of summer when it get 95-100 degrees it was terrible. The owner fixed it at night but it was a consistent problem. We thought about opening the windows but there is a mosquito infestation in the area. Lastly, the last day we checked out 25 minute after the checkout time because we were cleaning up (dishes, sweeping, made the beds, took the trash out) and understandably she charged me for late check out. When I requested for the fee to be waived because we cleaned and the discomfort of the air conditioning she left me a bad review and charged me an additional charge a week later for “excess cleaning”. This could be a problem with her cleaning crew that is over charging her but she is trying to pass it on to her guests.
When we got there, there was already sticky tape on the walls from the prior guest which she is now trying to blame on our stay. This property has caused me a lot of headache. This is my first bad review EVER. Just trying to save people the trouble and bad experience. Charleston was beautiful and had a great time with my gal pals but do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else
