Nice to check in to a familiar place that has the warmth of a home. Kitchen always has more than just the basic necessities of utensils and miscellaneous food/spices, etc Location is unbeatable.

The cabin feels like our home away from home. It’s very well equipped with everything you would need and its proximity to the beach cannot be beat unless you’re on the beach itself. It’s obviously a well loved family home and I’m so glad the owners decide to share it with others.

We have been coming to the cabin for over a decade. It has everything we need and want from a casual, relaxing vacation. Neighbors are nice. Sorry to see the beach so small, but we were able to set up and enjoy ourselves even so.

Location

Our second year staying at this property, live in ready when we get there. Proximity to the beach, hiking, stores and the Blue Lake Tavern is great. We’ll be back.

Home was great and we had a super fun time in the best little lakeside community in Tahoe. The house was "rustic" but so comfortable. We enjoyed the private beach and the close proximity to the South Shore activities. Dinner on the deck overlooking the lake was the best part of the trip ;-)

Family fun

You just can’t beat the location of this cozy cabin! Year after year we return and enjoy our week in Tahoe thanks to The owners. This is our 14th year of renting this cabin and each year there is some improvement that we discover to make our stay even more enjoyable. Relaxing get away

Great house! Relaxing, quiet and comfortable. Very clean! Beds were great along with towels and linens. Spices and condiments available along with welcome coffee. Plan on staying again.

Annual family vaca

We have stayed in “our” cabin for almost 20 years. We always have friends and family meet us there throughout the week. It is perfect. Jeff feels like family and he is always a phone call away.

Revisit to Lake Tahoe

My family used to vacation at Meeks Bay years ago. Decided to return with our family but choose the NV side this go around- great choice. The Marla Bay community is quiet, beautiful & the location of this cabin couldn't be beat. The cabin overall had great family space, waterview decking & well stocked from the kitchen to outdoor toys. The bedrooms were small some with little or no window ventilation that made sleeping warm for some. We enjoyed our stay & the location.

Perfect Tahoe Stay

We had an incredible vacation at Jeff and Leslie’s house. It really was perfect for our family’s stay on the lake. It had everything we wanted including comfortable beds, fans to cool off each bedroom, paddle boards, beach chairs, you name it. Hosts were super responsive. The location of this house is exceptional as it feels almost lake front as you basically walk off the property and you are steps away from the water. Plenty of parking which is limited in Marla Bay. The huge porch facing the lake with a Great Lake view was a plus. Would definitely rent again. Been coming to Tahoe for 30+ years and this was the best. Thank you for the hospitality.

Tahoe Trip

Cabin is in a very nice area and is very nice inside and out. The kitchen and family room are extremely well done and the kitchen is very well equipped. We had more than enough towels, etc in the baths. We had a very enjoyable Thanksgiving week.

Marla Bay cabin

Great “old Tahoe” cabin with a great deck to relax and enjoy the lake view. Has all the amenities you need. Enjoyed our stay. Two beds are very comfy.

Home away from home

This was our 13th year staying at Marla Bay IN THIS CABIN! It is perfectly located and has enough beds to host our family and a few cousins. Each year something has been updated and it is always a pleasant surprise. Communication with the host is easy - thank you Jeff! We love our annual trip and Jeff’s cabin has become our home away from home. Easy beach access, two SUP boards, awesome deck for cocktails and dinner with a lovely lake view. Heaven!

Amazing location!

My family took our first trip to Lake Tahoe for snowboarding and we had an amazing time. The location of the house is close to the slopes and we had amazing views of the lake from our house. Owners were quick to respond if I have any questions and the house was clean and cozy! Would definitely go back!!

Very nice cabin

Very nice cabin, located in a privileged position close to the lake and Heavenly Sky resort. We found a well stoked cabin, it had everything you need for cooking and for personal care. The host was at a phone call distance and the communication was perfect.

Cozy Marla Bay cabin

My kids and I love staying here. It's a comfortable cabin with a great back yard for the dog and a wonderful deck overlooking the lake. The walk to the beach is short and of course Tahoe is fantastic! The owners are nice and very responsive.

Tahoe and specifically Marla Bay has is all. This is an old community with friendly people that have known each other for generations. You can shop for food for a week, go in and totally escape and de-compress. Or you can go and be part of the action all day and all night. I love just going down to the beach, laying in the sand and letting the waves lap at my feet.
